Promise or a threat??? 😉

Got another render brewing (Claudia is prancing around naked again - As much as I like the new girls I'm installing I just can't leave poor Claudia alone!) so I'm off to bed while it bakes - Have to go to Richmond (London) at 5am so I think I should get some sleep.

G'nite,

Abi.

Edit: I've also decided to dedicate this render to Doc, the title and pose seem perfect! now you'll have to wait (yeah, payback!).  hehe.

LOL you & I both he told me in an email once he would rather we post issues on a forum rather then email him. I know this is a bug because it ws not happening before. One of the features that is mentioned regaring Reallity 2.0 is an improved scene merging. It appears this is no longer the case...

Lip Glossiness: 8000 Surface Fuzz: on

The only modification I did was to 'deflate' those balloony Riley lips a bit.

If I find better settings I'll post them of course, but these seem to work quite nicely.

Cheers!

In one of my first serious bands, my bass player also worked sound at the club we played at the most. Always wondered why he got so much more attention than any of the rest of us, especially when big name acts played, LOL.

Groundbreaking guitarists: Eddie Van Halen, BB King, Jimi Hendrix
Groundbreaking drummers: Buddy Guy, Louis Bellson(good friend R.I.P), Neil Peart(a canadian but this side anyway)
Groundbreaking bass players: Les Claypool, Mike Balzary(flea from rhcp)
Not to mention Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Winton Marsalis

given the devil his due.. i can't think of a single singer I'd put on my list higher than Freddie Mercury.  Still makes me sorta sad that he's gone.

The list of overly talented American musicians is too numerous to really give full credit in any forum; but, the list would be incomplete without my best friend Eric Kranz.  Probably one of the best drummers I've ever seen in person and I used to work at a jazz bar who was had Louis Bellson(youtube him) as a sitting drummer.  Equally talented on bass, guitar, just about every brass instrument and nearly every woodwind you can think of.  One of those rare guys who can just easily figure out how to make music come out of anything.  And the moron is toiling away in obscurity as a sound engineer and p.a. designer in western illinois.

Freddy yes.. can't think of another showman who commanded a stage like he did. 8/13/82 in Chicago.  Elton yes.. songwriter beyond compare.. serious showman.. not a slouch at the piano either.  To put George Michael, Boy George and Gary Glitter in there.. yikes.. not sure.  I would, though, add Sid Vicious and Joe Strummer in there.  Maybe not the best vocalists or instrumentalists; but, for me, the voice of my teens and therefore pivotal.

Question for Paolo

I really like seeing mesh changes happen on the DS scene when you change them in the modifier section of the reality window. Any chance of adding a slider for the smooth option next to subdivision? Many 3rd party objects have smooth set to high and other than taking the model into a modeling program and fixing, DS allows for smoothing or no smoothing, would be nice for a slider to have a bit more control. Applying the smoothing modifier in DS just tears the mesh since it is low poly

in this WIP scene I have several older models that are in collada format loaded. When loaded the smoothing is too high (see legs on the ATST). In Reality I can uncheck the smoothing box and get better surface fidelity/shading, but it is far from perfect as now there is next to no smoothing (see the base of the cabin of the shuttle.) I figured that since you added the check box in the reality window, then a slider wouldn't be that difficult.
