Morning:  Daily walk of 3.3 miles, clean living room, guest bath, kitchen, and dining so Mom can survive a brief visit.

Afternoon:  Move 2-piece China cabinet from current owner to my house (hence Mom's visit - she knows the current owner and is helping with the move), then mow parent's lawn.

Evening: Put back everything I really did not toss and giggle/grumble.  Work on text documents for omni-project.

I just want to get something done today.

I have a bunch of projects well into production, but nothing finished.

I am going to have to learn how to not reveal what I am working on unless I see it all the way through. There are a few things I let slip and now people are waiting on them. I am silly.

And the hotel coffee ain't half bad, if you brew it with bottled water instead of that horrid liquid coming from the bathroom tap...

woot woot. saw the old Poser Pro on amazon for 30 bucks. *click * i can rander 64 bit and enjoy my poser 7 library. well, draft randers, addicted to the SSS now.

general commentation, iz really sad when you have to lock your own thread.

took the plunge and bought M5.  wondering if it's possible to put m4's rig into m5 to make him work natively in poser.  would have to merge m5's extra abdomen. don't know yet what other extra body groups he haz.  hmm hmm hmmmm

i'm cleaning, baking.  i really should learn to cook an entree meal to go with the desserts.

i haven't backed up my runtimes in a while. it takes hours.  i usually zip em first, the zip process takes hours on it's own.  they make flash drives in 128gb now.  it might be faster than a spinning usb hard drive.  afraid though. flashdrives have failed on me.  the blueray data disks hold 25gb - i don't have a bluray writer though.

I don't bother with Zipping the runtimes; I just copy them to a USB hard drive, keeping the last 2 cops.  My purchases I copy to the drive, and burn them to DVD.

I need to give this free backup program a try; it can be set up to only copy files that have changed....

I tbhought I was the only one incapable of finishing projects! I've onl;y got about half a dozen comics running around on my hard drive that probably will never see the light of day simply because I can't seem to keep at them! Between sick family members/friends, sitting my granddaughter and other real ife issues, seems like I just don't have the mental energy to keep after it.

instead of struggling with the g2m to poser for now (time crunch),

if i saved M6 as a mannequin to poser and load a full body morph 'pose'

and let it do it's thing to frame 30,

would draping and wind calculate as if i were actually rotating limbs?

as long as it's not intersecting anything in frame 1,

does dyanmic cloth hair follow morphs or only rigging and scaling for calculating movement?

every time i go into the hair room i lose the whole weekend, lol.

idl lit only, sss, gc on. >.<  in pp12 with no group id.

using the bowl primitive, capsule primitive normals flipped as idl light sources.  round ground primitive was supposed to be a water plane.  primitive's geometry lines are showing through.

i put strand hair on Tyler, never rendered strand hair with idl only.  bucket hasn't reached the hair yet.

round ground plane sticking out of the bowl, was supposed to be water in the bowl.  glad now didn't bother with color pebbles.

sigh, disaster.

took a cpr / first aid training class.  2 minutes with the dummi, they card-carrying certifying me for cpr.
i don't feel confident about it, thinking of buying myself the training dummy to practice.  saw one on amazon, lights tell you if meeting the the 2" compression, and speed. 100 beats per second >.<.  30/2 compressions/breaths.  they told me to expect to break ribs. ouch.

poser srs, i need my poser to work consistantly as in, there's few things more traumatic than saving my setup characters and prop sets to the library and they don't work when adding them.

sss made me start over.  

can't go back to the drawing board every 6 months when it takes years to prep.  my novels are a series, don't want to rebuild every time a s/w update comes out. not material behavior or scaling.

i can't remember the names of dresses or guns i previously used. the saved to library is my only salvation.

new prop set, personal imho,

poser7 is the stabilist for imorting, setting up new prop sets. do the door rigging. origins.

set up materials as .pz2 files for DS customers to apply mats.
or better yet make real ds shaders.

package it up for Poser7 and DS customers.

then bring it in to pp12/14 to optomize materials for newer features. add mc6 files.

using v4 in promo render? make her look good, arm fixes, etc

please don't use !!!+ file names.

please put custom morphs under /library/morphs folder.
last thing i want is !yourname directly under my /library folder

keep in mind customers remember bad experiences, your every product is also an advertisement for your next product.

I took the all afternoon course.  The instructor tolld us that when you start CPR, the person is essentially dead, so you aren't going to make them any worse...

he did mention it. >.<  odds are pretty low, something between 7.6 and 13%.

and said the beat to Stayin Alive was good song to keep time for 100 beats per second.
