Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 1:20 pm)
I've never tried this on imported genesis 3 clothing but maybe you could just run it through the fitting room. When I have problems with content not conforming properly or moving correctly I just take it into the fitting room (together with the character) don't actually run a fitting session just create a character including regrouping.
Try copy joint zones in poser.
Available on Amazon for the Kindle E-Reader Monster of the North and The Shimmering Mage

I use Poser 13 and win 10
I am guessing that the autofit from G3 to G2 is not being correctly translated. Can you import just the OBJ into Poser and see if the shape is G2 ? If not, then I suspect that the autofit magnets or whatever technology DS is using, has not been passed over to the Poser-compatible CR2.

Try copy joint zones in poser.
Could you explain me how to do that, please?

When I import the cloth, it looks bigger than the figure, but if I conform, it fits correctly, the problem is the traslation like I showed in the pictures attached :(

What I do is do an autofit in DAZ and then save the object as a figure asset. I then create a poser companion file with DSON. I have converted a lot of clothes this way and has never had an issue.
I tried, but it didn't work :(

I tried it and didn't work either :(
you might try adjusting the weight maps or inner matspheres (depending on how the figure is rigged) with the joint editor window.

I tried and neither i worked :( There is something that Daz is not exporting to Poser, but what? what could it be?
This really strange, if I export directly the G3M Figure and his cloth to Poser, it's not exported complete:
Could you do a favor? If you have Daz Studio, Poser and Genesis 3 Figures and some G3 Clothes, could try to export it to Poser following the method I explained before and tell me your results please? Problably it must be a Plugin or something like that I need for Poser.
I'll be waiting your results. Thank you guys.

Theoretically, this seems the correct methodology. Also, I suspect one issue with all solutions not working is to start with a new scene. poser memory gets very bad when the same scene is used to re-import Daz Studio content either via ObJ and CR2 or by DSON.

Could you try by yourself in your pc and let me know if you have this issue too. I have to know if the problem is general or only mine.

Hi Guys! I have a problem importing G3M Clothes into Poser Pro 2014/11. I followed the procedure I attach (first export it as an obj file in the Geometry Folder from Poser Runtime and after export it as a cr2 file in the Characters Folder from the Poser Library). When I load and conform it, it seems to be correct, but when I try to move the Figure, the cloth stays in the same place and it gets distorted like I show in the pictures attached.
I have to say I don't have this problem when I export G2 Clothes in Poser. These ones are G3M clothes autofitted to a G2M Figure, thanks to the Autofit Plugin. In Daz Studio it's fitted correctly, the problem is in Poser when it's exported.
Could you help me guys?
