What is the Ambient Color?

atpo ( ) posted Sat, 08 September 2018 at 6:34 PM

Thanks. Ambient Color is black. But I think no relation.Because I add material in blender.

I checked that Ambient Color is very white. But for why? I didn't add no ambient in other software. Thanks chrisf .

I have had the same issue with some props I've imported to Daz Studio even though I set the ambient color to black before importing. I do not know why, I adjust the ambient color in Daz and continue.

I'm assuming you are using the Nvidia Iray Engine (in render settings)? As your screen shot indicates, the imported object's surface material by default uses the Daz Studio default surface/shader/material. Select the object. Select the Surface. Go to: Content Library > Shader Presets > Iray > DAZ Uber and double click on !Iray Uber Base. Hope that helps.

Oh, and save your eyes ๐Ÿ˜ƒ change your interface color scheme to something more neutral and legible

Thanks. But centriq DAZ4.6 has no Iray, this is in 4.6 version to open.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. Yes, then as Chris suggested.
