Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 08 9:27 am)
Well, the Willy Switch works with that script. However attempting to get the Figure height option to show results in this: Traceback (most recent call last): File "Q:Testtoggleheight.py", line 36, in File "Q:Testtoggleheight.py", line 17, in Choose NameError: global name 'wx' is not defined
And yes, I am using the updated version.

The file has been checked and uploaded again
this is a copy of the file - Figureheight
It still says "What height do toy want?". Just saying.

The script most definitely works! Redownloading for the text edited version. Wasn't there a script or panel called Toy Box? Considering the initial nature of the thread, I can't believe the Fem bots haven't complained and initiated death by Snu-Snu! (Please?)
Proof!
Don't forget the Tail of Woe (Just noticed the spelling. GENIUS!!)
Reading all these threads after the change of owner of Poser and the Update that should of been just a "bridge" release actually just for the activation shows allot of changes and rather ones that diminished the capabilities of Poser ... I wounder if it is that so many errors occurred . things like Pytons that don't work parts of poser that get lost and issues while activation ... Probably there is a huuge blacklist of unreported issues, but thank to Independent users that engage them selves to fix the issues with apps scripts and Pytons it all seems to make things work again ( Actually would be the task of the owner ) Poser is on its best way to be a " Open Source " Program just like blender . People seem to do a really great work on finding solutions for the issues that sure is really cool .... and sure deserve great respect for it.
The really positive aspect is that allot of people start getting interest in the build of such a program starting to learn how to change things the way it works for there own benefits.

I did say, earlier in the thread, that in the interests of equality it should be named the Minge/Willy switch.
Some of the Poser gals have switchable lady bits, Jessi and Judy, for example. That's the old, "Flipper" Jessi, that is, not the newer one, which for some bizarre reason, is missing from my versions of Poser.
Looking at those two figures - and a few more of the native figures, I can't believe anyone actually signed off on 'em. Alyson, for example, is so ugly she makes Judy look almost human. She looks like Arnie with norks. Gabe performed a miracle with her, that's for sure; the default version could curdle milk.

Unfortunately, I have more free time again. Just in time not to have extra money when the holidays begin. However, this gives me more time to get back to my many projects.
Editing the XRC file to add figure height to my menu is one of them. Thanks to structure, I can use the python script that's gives me the function I want. However, I feel greedy for knowledge. I want to edit the XRC file to add it to my Poser menu so like the Yangs said to the Khoms. "That which is ours is ours again. It will never be taken from us again."
So I'm looking for help by the guru's. I'm only hesitant to include my XRC.UI file because it's so large. Sooooo, without further ado, what do I look for? Where do I include it and what do I include? I may have to do this again because I haven't updated since 2.272 as I waited for any potential bugs to shake out. It may be needed but it wasn't mandatory as was the September update.
I noticed on one of the bondware announcements that they had removed the genital menu item. Had the same problem with Daz when they broke the geometry switching in studio for the older figures, took a lot of bug filling to get them to fix it as there are still a few of us who use the figures. Gosha by Smay also uses the genitals on/off command but fortunately Smay had the foresight to include an on/off dial on the hip Parameters to swap the geometry.

You're not alone in using older figures. I do as well. But I didn't know that Gosha was done by smay. He was one of my favorites! Are we talking about geometry switching his wedding tackle?
Indeed. I doubt many people noticed, his Winkie is tiny even when it's turned on lol

I had a request on this page but it's too much fun to stop now. I'll repost in a new thread. In the meantime.... I didn't know that Gorilla's have tiny ding ding's! I mean, they're freakin' gorillas. No wonder they seem mad all the time.
Now then, TrekkieGrrl is a source of ahem, information? IIRC She has a wonderful freebie page. I'm 99% sure there was a "package" freebie. Everything from donut (!) to Horseshoe. Suddenly all the pieces begin to fall into place....hmmmmmmmmm

Gorillas are generally peaceful and gentle creatures. They will usually only fight to protect their families. Chimpanzees, however - our closest living relatives, genetically* - are a whole nother thing. Violent, murderous, cannibalistic rapists. According to anthropoligical studies, if they lived in as close proximity as humans, there would be a murder rate that would make the worst favelas in Sao Paulo look like a Sunday School picnic.

The gorilla, er, thing, as it compares to the size of their human cousins, has to do with how big our noggins are at birth. Humans are born with enormous noggins.
Which doesn't make much sense in Gosha's case, since is his head is about as big and round as any toon out there. Have to say Adzan, it wasn't very discrete naming names that way. One thing you can say about Gosha: he has huge acorns.

Lol. Goshas nether region reminds me of the Crazy Frog the music videos, sadly poor old Crazy Frog was given a Penectomy and Castrated by the UK's music censors, so at least Gosha is still a little boy and not a eunuch
Hello, I just happened to read Sam's original post and dragged Michael 2 out into the light, selected 'body parts' and there was 'genitals' with the visible (or not) option. ( I left them invisible as it is Sunday as I write!) Sorry if someone has already pointed this out. As for the figure height button that definitely seems to have gone.

If you check back in the thread, you'll find that structure has generously issued a python script that address both the missing figure height button and the missing ahem, wedding tackle of Mike 2. I suggest you check it out as this thread is not only informative but also currently is the most hilarious thread in the forum.
The gorilla is actually an old DAZ3D model: GorillaLE. Pulled and installed him for the picture from one of my earliest archive discs (an old EXE file), so I must have had him for a long time. No texture map for the poor devil. It was probably not too long after DAZ3D spun off from Zygote.
The guy with the enviable acorns is Smay's Gosha.
I always peek in on the SamTherapy threads; you SamTherapy, are a card. I recall some long while ago a thread about cell phone automatic spell checking, you sexting your significant other that when you got home you were going to 'kick her puppy...' Shot coffee out my nose. After that, I never sip beverages and read your posts at the same time...

Now I come to think of it, ISTR it was more along the lines of "Cook my sock".

Search here is a little rough. Also, not getting email notifications when anyone replies. The other thing I find annoying is my browser logs me out whenever I close it (which is probably a good thing), and when I browse the forums and want to log on to post, the site redirects me to the market place... Site should take you back to the page you were looking at, not high jack you off somewhere else. And yes, 'Notify me when someone replies" is checked.

Watching this thread for fun ...
I bought the Gorilla, or at least, got it as part of a bundle. Not currently installed but I know mine came with textures, so not the LE version, the full one. No willy, though; that would have been a bit odd, I guess, particularly if they had a separate one like the M3/D3 gens, or as I called 'em, the Millennium Willies. Well, they had Millennium Teeth, Millennium Cat, Millennium Horse, Millennium Suppositories, Millennium Toilet Brush, Millennium Botulism and so on, so it seemed appropriate at the time.

Could have swore I read pencil the first time through. Funny thing, I had a cigarette in my runtime but had to go and search out a pencil. Had plenty of ink pens, sure, but no pencils... TrekkieGrrl's 'Silver Back' and, for what it's worth, McGyver's pencil.
Been a really long day. Best wishes all, R

As coincidence would have it, the words pencil and penis derive from a common root word.

A wealth of information. From the Latin I would guess? I think maybe when I first heard about Gorilla stingers the analogy might have been pencil. And then there is the ol' saying, pencil-dick. When I think of it, I used a cigarette not all that long ago to make a pic for my brother. He has a thing for cows. Some folks might find the image at the end of this link disturbing. I apologies in advance.

Used to be a number of resources available for the old Michael 2 figure (and his junk) online. Took a short stroll in the Wayback Machine but couldn't find the author I was thinking of. I could swear there used to be a Poser user named 'Penguin' out there... There was an old Web Ring with any number of 'fringe' Poser users. Some of the users were not so fringe: Traveler and Bushi were two I recognized. Anyone (anyone that's been around a while) remember Foxhollow? I found the 'eroticscratchpad dot com' from (c) 2001 and some of the links from the era still function. What about 'Sha'? That name rings a bell, but I can't place him or her.

There were Rendo links from the Web Ring of old too, and early, early versions of the site from (c) 2000 +.
I found Renderosity a short time after I first bought models from Zygote. There was an artist here who posted an image and I wrote wondering if he would share the name of the Victoria 2 texture he used. Can't remember the name of the gallery artist, but he generously answered and informed me the name of the product was StefyZZ's Yuma. I am pretty sure that was the first product I ever bought from the Market Place. It was a slippery slope from there. There was a time I was spending more loot buying clothes for Victoria than I was for myself.
Be well Sam, and long may you post, Rance
@Rance I looked up eroticscratchpad.com...it's dead. I did some scouring and ended up at Coderscorner.com...it's dead. Thanks to Xurge for keeping a Poser alternative alive.
Penguinisto? I thought that might be the all knowing penguin that destroys the grading curve. Haven't heard from him.
Back on Topic...
Thought about going to the Zoo, staring a gorilla in his eyes, hitch up my belt once to watch him cry. I let the dark side slip back so I'm letting him off the hook. I think I might just punch a dolphin instead. Arrogant Blokes ever since they got their own TV show.
Way back in 2008 I still remember posting a single question. How long before I get over saving money for models before saving money for food. When does this never ending crackware stop?
The answer was the same. Never. Now days due to my economic reboot, I've stopped but I know as soon as I got something permanent...well, that new elegant hair by Rpublishing looks amazing...I still want a mink coat for Poser and...Hmmm, if I skip eating for 1.75 days...hmmm

quietrob: never trust a dolphin. You have to wonder why they are always smiling, and the only logical conclusion is that THEY ARE part of the overarching Illuminati plot (or anti-Illuminati plot - can't remember which). You will have to read Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson to get the skinny on dolphins. I think Douglas Adams had something to say about them too. As for the eroticscratchpad, I was speaking to the version still hanging on the WaybackMachine: https://archive.org/web/web.php.
Early versions of Renderosity and other goodies will be around for as long as the Internet Archives survives. Sort of like seeing old pictures of yourself wearing those awful clothes and hairdos from the 1970s... Paisley, whatever happened to paisley?

(Apologies - noticed this while searching for a link I'd posted here awhile back... Rendo's forum search, as always, is less than stellar... but it got me here so it's not as terrible as it seems. :) )
I never made much for Mike 2, much less his tackle... some of the graybeards at Renderotica might be able to point to some useful bits, tho'. That or the ancient universal freebie(?) pecker from Ghastly might fit with a bit of wedging... assuming it still exists somewhere.
Sorry, Peng. My mistake.
Now I think of it, I believe Arduino made an add on tallywhacker for Mike 2. Morphable, IIRC, to indicate he was pleased to see you. Or was it the lads at GPA?

GPA, I suspect... Arduino focused on ladybits mostly (if memory serves, on most figures he did a morph for the 'innie' parts, and a conforming set of labia to go around the forward one, to put it all in semi-delicate terms.)
My brain should really not know and retain things like this... it's going to scare the crap out of all the other inmates at whatever nursing home I eventually wind up in.
