I don't have anything for Kururu. I'd never heard of her before yesterday. I can't say how well it would fit V4. It would need converting.

I downloaded her original version and took a look at the mesh compared to default V4.

I don't think it will work to try to use her clothing.

Anybody have a good shader to make skin look wet? Not sweaty, or just boosting the specular, but actually fell-in-a-lake wet? I need it for my scene and I am not sure how to pull it off in Superfly. I did it with Sydney in Firefly years back. But it didn't look quite right.

There was a MAT that someone did awhile back too. But it didn't work in Superfly. I used it on Miki, but you had to zoom in to the pic to see the water drops on her.

Basically, I want to make it look like my Kara was thrown through a water tower and comes out wet. I can do her clothes in post, but I need to be able to do her skin. If I use rev-viper's hair prop, there is an included wet hair morph for it that looks pretty good.

I see that there is an Evilinnocence Kururu license for CrossDresser 3 and 4 so it can be converted over to V4.  Unfortunately, I don't own either license to test it.

I don't own CrossDresser. And I am pretty sure the fitting room in Poser would destroy the mesh. I could try to scale it up in Wings and see if I can get it to fit. But I am doubting it.

It won't work. The difference in their bodies makes it too much work for me to do without a program like CrossDresser.

Speaking of skin, rokket why not giving a test through EZSkin3? you may define what kind is each body part, so that you could create a character definition for this one.

I forgot all about that. I will take a look at it in a bit. I am running a render, doing a strand hair test. Once I get that done, I will see what I can do with EZSkin3.

The only drawback that I have found in EZSkin3 is the inability to activate the SSS material settings for the skin textures.  There is no check box option.

@ Y-Phil: I don't know if this is an option that can be easily implemented, and it would be appreciated if you have some time to look into it.  I think it is a feature that should be available to users as an option rather than an assumption that it is already activated when EZSkin is applied.

 and the part you may control is how deep it goes, through each Scatter nodes (above is for Firefly and below for Superfly)

I thought there were presets for wet skin and whatnot. I went looking, and I am clueless how to make her skin look wet.

That's just it.  The Use_Material_Color is unchecked.  According to the Poser manual, you must check the tick box if you want to use the Material preset.  Unfortunately, the Scale doesn't behave as I expect it to, at least.  When I increase that value, I do not notice an increase in translucency, only by decreasing the value do I see a difference.  When I get time to experiment with it closely, I'll determine if it is actually broken.  The PrincipledBsdf SSS Scaling does increase the translucent behavior as it should.$

For me, it's 10pm and I feel the tiredness lol, so that I may have to re-read your explanation and see if I can find where to interfere in EZSkni's code and correct this,

Ok, but in the screen cap that Y-Phil posted, it is on EZ_Cycleskin(SF), and I don't have that option.

And Cgf is greyed out. I can't select it

This is what I got so far. It requires a droplet  texture map that I think came from Bagginsbill and the skin bump maps from your skin shader. It's on a second layer.

Thanks. I will give this a shot right now. I am working on a Miki in the tub scene and The next thing will be to tackle how to make the bottom part of her strand based hair look wet.

Sometimes I bite off way more than I can chew.  I know there has to be a math solution to getting the bottom part of the hair to look wet.

But I suck at math...

I am downloading it, and running a render with Miki in the tub. I am watching it and it's turning out pretty good so far. I won't know until it's done, even with progressive refinement on.

progressive refinement takes longer to render. just sayin'.

Yeah, I know. But I prefer it because if I make a mistake in the posing or something else, I can see it before it gets too far and can stop it

I downloaded and installed that EZSkin py for cycles, but EZSkin isn't recognizing it. It's in the folder the instructions said to install it...

Are you sure to have a file named "CycleSkin.py" in this folder?

Note that you must restart EZSkin to see it.

Just another hint: Poser11 is the last one to be installed within "Program Files". Poser12 and the next versions will always have their own tree, elsewhere. Actually: on a dedicated partition stored on a Samsung SSD 860 M.2, with all my runtimes (I've seen a difference in speed when I did this)
The "Program Files" zone is too strict, too complicated to manage.
And as you can see, all scripts such as EZSkin3 and the likes are stored on a third drive.

Yeah, so apparantly, the water is pretty cold. So cold it knocked her suit off...

Her body and hair both have cycles materials. The wet look of her hair came from a pose file that red viper included in the package for that hair.

Now I just need to figure out how to simulate wet clothes and I'll be set
