If you linked your Poser 11 runtime folder containing Victoria 4 to Poser 13, you shouldn't have any problems. If it's a fresh install, you will need to run the .bat file again to create those additional channels. However, without much more information, it will be hard to proper diagnose the problem.
So, I uninstalled Poser 11 and installed Poser 13. I installed all my figures in Poser 13 and then dragged the Poser 13 folder directly into the library. I was able to load my V4 into the window as normal and use all the morphs. Only the morph for the figure didn't work.
Now I reinstalled Poser 11 and installed all my figures in it. I then dragged that Poser 11 folder directly into the Poser 13 library. I can use the figures and all the morphs work.
It's weird that I have to install Poser 11 specifically for the body morphs in Poser 13 in order for the morphs to work there, via the Poser 11 folder in the library. It's a shame that it doesn't work without Poser 11. Otherwise, I'm happy with Poser 13 so far.
I have a screen of my library here
You shouldn't have to install Poser 11 to use your Poser 11 content there. All you need to do is add your Poser 11 content folder to the Poser 13 library as an external library. Otherwise Poser 13 won't know where to find the files and that is why they didn't work. \
Yes, I did that too. I moved the Poser 11 folder into the Poser 13 library. It worked well, thanks again for the tip. Poser 11 doesn't take up that much space, it only contains the figures. It doesn't bother me. I'll leave it like that for now so that everything continues to run smoothly in Poser 13. :)
A word of caution: avoid placing content into the Program Files folder if that is where your primary Poser app is located. Window's UAC will interfere with runtime access and cause unusual behavior. In addition, UAC may create a virtual location for your content, which can further complicate usability. Install content into external runtimes within the Public Document folder and link them accordingly. I share runtimes between Poser 11, 12 and 13 without any problems and each Poser version can coexist and operate at the same time.
Everything I've bought has its own folder. For example, the Ali hair. In this folder are all the Ali hair and only one runtime folder. I put this folder in the library. The only thing that is installed in Poser 11 or Poser 13 are the figures.
Unfortunately, the Poser 13 folder doesn't work in the body morphs.
So I've now removed it from the library and put the Poser 11 folder in the library instead. It worked wonderfully.
Everything else isn't installed in Poser 13. It takes up too much space in Poser and at some point, I think, it will be too much anyway. So I put each folder separately in the library. What I always need. What I don't need, I remove from the library.
I have no idea about anything else technical. I only work with Poser, create figures or backgrounds. I don't do anything else with it.

Assuming you are only having issue with DAZ generation 4 characters as mentioned (V4, M4, K4)I'm starting to regret buying Poser 13 and am considering installing Poser 11 as I can no longer create Poser figures with Poser 13. I have about 650 figures for Victoria 4 and I can't use a single body morph in Poser 13. The face and ears work perfectly but the body just won't change. Can anyone help me how to do this in Poser 13 so I can give Victoria a body that fits the figure? I'm really desperate and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much,
Corinna
Also Note!
Notice all the other !*** folders in my Libraries folder? They are from characters of other vendors and some addons for V4, M4 from 3rd party vendors - if you have any such from other people then they too must be install where the vendor says or their morphs and/or characters will not work.
Also take note that some of these 3rd Party folk have their (whatever folder...I guess call them 'Callout folders') located in the Runtime\ (root) folder....just put them where ever the creator has them located to avoid headaches
It's far easier to just link Poser 13 to the runtime libraries from Poser 11. There's a million of Daz's "ExP" files that have to be copied into the correct spot for it to work in a new runtime. Fortunately there is literately a one click solution to link your existing runtimes.
After linking the runtimes you can uninstall Poser 11. Just leave the Poser 11 runtimes where they are.
If you have already deleted the runtimes then you're probably going to have use the BAT files as they modify the figure's CR2 (Character) file to look for the injectors.
This is not a poser problem it's a DAZ problem. They made their characters so mindbogglingly over complicated that moving them into a new runtime is nearly impossible. It's because every time you load a Gen 4 figure it runs about 4000 morph injections. All those injectors have to be where they can be found. It's also a lot slower. The computer has to open and read thousands of files.
Poser native figures load morphs from one file, not thousands. Not that Poser figures can't loose their PMD file but at least it's just one file. 3929 times easier to move one PMD file back to the right spot.
If you don't have DzCreateExPFiles.exe and the BAT files to go with it. your only hope is copying the "ExP" ,which is thousands of PZ2 files, to the right spot. Each figure has it's own folder inside the !DAZ folder.
Poser files were already complicated so DAZ made them 3929 times more complicated with "ExP". Every single morph for every single body part is in a separate pz2 file. No idea why this was considered a fix for any problem.
Now for the bonus round. you can make these Gen 4 DAZ figures load in 1/2 the time by removing all that ExP nonsense. All you need to do is resave the figure with PMD enabled.
Now load the PMD'd V4 from the library. Don't blink. Yeah it really loaded in about 1/2 the time. It's because all the morphs are in one PMD file instead or 3929 loose files.
V3 and V4 were done the loose file way so you didn't have to load the entire figure at once.
How soon people forget that a really expensive systems when V3 was released only had 8 gig of ram, at most.
The reason it was done that way, was so you could actually load the character.
Better chipsets didn't come out until well after V4 was designed.
Some things are easy to explain, other things are not........ <- Store -> <-Freebies->
You're probably thinking of morph injections. That's not what ExP is. ExP was solely to enable morph injection in Poser 4. Morph injections do actually save on system resources. ExP does not. It's actually more resource intensive than just using Poser's Binary morphs.
DAZ's ExP system wasn't to accommodate low end systems. The entire figure still has to load for the figure to be loaded. ExP was created because Poser 4 didn't have a way to add morphs channels to an existing figure. At least that was DAZ's story when they introduced it with V4. Except the ability to add channels was added to Poser 5. V4 didn't come along till poser 6. DAZ just ignored Poser's innovations. DAZ continued to ignore Poser advancements. That created the illusion that Poser lacked innovation with their products, DAZ also never supported Keyed Dependencies, Material collections (Preferring the Mat-pose hack), binary morphs and probably a bunch more I've repressed the memories of.
So ExP was a work around for a missing Poser feature that hadn't been missing for 2 full versions..
Binary morphs were a more complete solution to the low end system problem. Unfortunately bugs in PMD when introduced lead to it largely being rejected. Binary morphs have a super power that few people know about. When a figure with morphs in PMD format is loaded none of the morphs really aren't loaded. The actual morph data isn't added to the scene or system memory until you actually use the morph. The biggest advantage was that you didn't have to stop and load a morph injection if you needed another morph pack. For a PMD figure all you needed to do was spin the dial. The morph data is automatically read from the PMD in real time.
P.S. A Poser style morph injection is 2 files. A PZ2 and a PMD. A DAZ morph injection is thousands of files.
