Hi there, Go to Vicki's materials and make here skkin highlight color either black or slide the highlight bar to Zero. Or do both. That will do it. Or slide her highlight bar to 100%. That makes for some nice glowy skin tones. Anton

Thanks for the help, Anton. I tried what you suggested, but the shine is still there. I think its as Valandar suggested, the shine is coming off the transparent top of the catsuit. Is there anyway to remove the reflection from the transparent area of the catsuit, but not the visible area? Thanks for the help! Jay
On the texture map for the catsuit, paint all the portions you want to make transparent pure black, just like you did with the transparency map. They're going to be invisible, so the color shouldn't matter, right?
Highlights won't show up against pure black materials, even if they've been made invisible with transmaps.
Thanks for replying, guys! I tried both of these techniques and I think there is hope that I can get this to work. Doug, I am still trying to find a reflection map that I like. I'll post a pic when I find one I like. Little Dragon, I tried your technique, too. The only problem is that I want the catsuit black, too. You were right, the highlight didn't show up on the transparent area of the catsuit, but it didn't show up on the visible area, either. I like this idea, but it doesn't seem to work if you want the visible material black. Thanks again! Jay I'm going to keep trying to play with reflection maps :)

Here's one that I used the reflection map on. DougI came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

Here's an idea that looks good on paper: You could always use the group tool to delete the top parts of the catsuit figure... then you wouldn't need to worry about the transmap at all. Deleting segments isn't as versatile as a transmap would be, but if you're just slicing off the top of the suit, it might work better.
I always got it to work like this: 1) the object colour is black for all the parts you want to appear shiny black, highlight colour can be anything you want 2) apply the transparency map also as a texture for the whole clothing item, that'll remove the unwanted highlights but then other ones will stay (at least they always did for me)
Jay
I was confused and thought you meaqnt Vicki's Highlights. Sorry. :)

For the first time I tried to make a transparency map. As you can see, its nothing too fancy. Well, here's my question, how do I remove the shine from Vicky's skin where the catsuit is transparent? I want the catsuit to keep a shiny latex look, but I do not want her upper torso and arms to look like they're wrapped in clear plastic.
Thanks in advance! :)
