I am at Poser since 1997, version 2.
Poser is a product with a very steep learning curve.
The bad news is: 2 months is simply not enough.
The good news is: using Poser now is a lot more advanced than it was in 1997.
Additional: Poser makes you think a lot about art and human body (how things pose, how the fabric works...) think outside the tool, it helps :)

You will need a "bigger" computer to run it. Bigger than what you (and all of us) have now... :)

I second this opinion. Poser pz3 has become a kind of 3D high level language with actually very little doc. This forum could fill that gap.

Hi Kiera, if I examine your screenshot more carefully, I see that the left forearm is still poking thru ;)

Strange, I tried this too but my starting position looks completely different as to Kiera's screenshot. I have only poke-thru on V3 arms and breasts. The CTL-C, CTL-V on the body does not help for body, and if I do it for "chest", it deformes the cat suit figure. I use V3 sr2 and V3 catsuit sr1. If I pose V3 with "V3 arms crossed" (DAZ V3 pose), then get the catsuit figure and do that pose on the catsuit, it fits ok! If after that, I conform the catsuit to V3, I get the poke-thru's again.

This discussion has learned me quite a lot.

First, I absolutely do not agree to give a fake e-mail address. Either register with a valid address or don't.

I think that asking for registration is acceptable when announcing the registration up-front, clearly explain why and how the information is going to be used. In that way, it is easier to make up your mind whether or not to register.

One other thing, I am wording this carefull ... I see some people use the argument that because it is free , we should not discuss this. I think that it is useful to discuss it and speak or minds in a forum like this so we can all come to a better understanding. BTW, For the free stuff I am very grateful!

Just do not move the :Runtime:Libraries:!DAZ directory. Other files reference this directory.

You can move the other directories to anywhere under :Runtime:Libraries:Pose e.g. group all David INJ/REM dirs in one :Runtime:Libraries:Pose:!David dir

When done so, you do not need to edit files :)

Maybe look for a program that records and plays back mouse movement, mouse clicks and keyboard entries?

Are you connected to a network or Internet? If so, try again disconnected (unplug the network cable).

Ok, the problem is solved. Thanks to Josh from Reiss who spend quite some time! I cannot pin-point the root cause, but what basically solved it was to re-install Poser 5 and Body Studio without Norton Antivirus installed. I do not blame any of the mentioned software since again I have no idea of the root cause of the problem.

I am in contact with Reiss now.

Reformulating my previous post: .bum is a file in .bmp format.

.bum got dumped in Poser5. Whenever I come across it, I rename it to .bmp and use that in the Material room. It shows indeed a red/green picture.
