This may be a dumb question, but is it possible that Poser is in flat shaded display mode? I've done that more than once...
Thread: Heads up, new Image thief. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
His website is also full of copyrighted material by TSR, images by other fantasy artists, etc. The TSR copyrights may be old, but Wizards of the Coast may still jump on him to protect their intellectual property (they've done it before). Here's what I sent to Wizards of the Coast: Hello, I'd like to bring the following site to your attention: http://www.angelfire.com/scifi2/gamma_world/ Included on the site are numerous verbatim postings of 70's-80's TSR material that may not be authorized by Wizards. While I am generally in favor of fan sites, I can assure you that, at least in certain circles, this website has extremely bad associations with copyright violation. Numerous artists' works are reproduced there without permission, and often without credit. I think it is worth at least a cursory examination by Wizards of the Coast if you still retain the "Gamma World" intellectual property. Certain art reproduced on the site also comes directly from TSR products. If this fan site has authorization from Wizards of the Coast to post Gamma World material, I would strongly recommend Wizards reconsider such permission, as the association with other copyright violations on the site is probably not in Wizards' best interest. I would also caution you that the owner of the site has reportedly responded to other complaints by sending virus-laden emails back to the complainers. Thus, I would appreciate my name and email address NOT be forwarded to the site owner if Wizards decides to contact him. Thank you.

LOL. That cop on the deck looks pretty casual. "Hey, Fred ... what's with the 'getting eaten by a duck' thing? I thought we were gonna get some donuts in the galley."

Just got it last night and only loaded up Poser briefly, but did a quick render, and I do mean quick. Relatively, anyway. There seemed to be a lot less of a delay before it got started, etc., and it chugged right through a fairly thick image (full figure, clothing, textures, set), though I didn't have any dynamic cloth or hair in the pic.

Thanks Jaager, I'll give that a shot when I get home. It's not a memory issue, unless Poser has gone haywire, as I've got 512GB and am running no other major apps besides Poser (P5 tends to eat up all the RAM and virtual memory if anything like Photoshop or Bryce is loaded at the same time).

I believe so. I downloaded all the patches from DAZ, applied them, then reinstalled the Male Pak and nothing happens when I turn any dial on an FBM.

Yes, I followed the directions and deleted all things V3, including the stuff in the pose and !DAZ library folders.

Nevermind. Found a post by Rob that says the Supermodel pose entry is a glitch and that the "Buxom" one is the same morph, but working.

Thread: V2 Morphs to "Vicky 3 to Vicky 2"? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The reason I'd like to use the V2 morphs with the Vicky 3 to Vicky 2 character, NOT the Vicky 3 character (she has plenty of morphs), is that I'd like to be able to tweak the body of the V3 to V2 character, since I have to use that character if I want to use any of the gigs of crap I have for Vicky 2.
I'm not complaining about V3 here, but I seriously question DAZ's reasoning in not including the standard Vicky 2 morphs with the V3 to V2 character, particularly when it is difficult, if not impossible, for us to transfer them ourselves.

Farside - Good idea! She's an organizational nightmare. I shudder to think what she would have done to poor old P4. Hogwarden has GOT to release PBoost 1.4. But seriously, does anyone know why DAZ didn't include any of the V2 morphs on the V3 to V2 character? Seems like a waste to me.
Thread: V2 Morphs to "Vicky 3 to Vicky 2"? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
No, I did that. What I'm asking is if you can use the Vicky 2 morphs with the "Vicky 3 to Vicky 2" character that comes with Vicky 3. She fits in the clothes but that's it. No morphs at all on the body. I really want to know if I'm stuck using either: V3 with fine morphs and no clothes. or V3 to V2 with clothes and only head morphs. The injectable morphs for V3 don't work on V3 to V2... do they?

Just a WAG, but you might try injecting the pPregnant morphs first and then the Full Body last.
