Ok, looks like you guys/gals have done exactly what I'm trying to do. The thing is, I'm a bit confused as to the steps, and correct order in which to do all this. Could someone, like Fishnose or Kiera type them out how you did it? For my Vicky2, I only used the morphs and such that came with her to create my character, does this help? Now how do I do all those steps to make sure my Catsuit acts as yours does? I'd be eternally grateful for this info, such as the transfering of MTs etc. Dragontales

Actually, I didn't know about the feet. Perhaps that's giving me the problems. What about hands? Does it have those as well?

Actually, the catsuit and body matches exactly as far as scaling and measurements are concerned. She's actually vicky 2 and I used some of the more custom morphs she came with, Kinda a bit shorter and more muscular. I think my problem lies there. I do have the clothes thing that adds all those morphs to her clothes, but it now gives me these problems. When will Poser allow for mesh deformation around another object so that this doesn't happen? Anyway, thanks for the ideas, I've already tried a couple of them, but, wasn't having any luck. Thanks again, Dragontales
Thread: Need a good tutorial for applying Poser textures and transparencies in MAX. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
transparency is done in the material editor in max. There's a basic transparency, and then there are more advanced like glass. Try asking in the Max forums for this type question. You'll get more responses. Max is great for rendering poser figures, but it does take some time to figure out!
Thread: A New General Topic Forum? | Forum: Community Center
I like the idea of a general discussion forum. I too came to this site for more than just the art and info I could get on it. I loved the C&D not for the stupid flame wars but for the friends that could be found there. That's what makes this place a community, nothing more.

One other thing....if you have a max scene that you really want translated to another format, try posting a request in the max forum. I'm sure someone in there would be willing to do it and then send you the translated file. Provided it's a free file in the first place. Good luck. Dragontales
Thread: where can I find a 3dsmax translation utility? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
As a devoted max user, I can say that once you use it, You'll never go back. It is pricey, but some would argue that it's well worth the price. I'm not so sure I agree, but then I don't think any software should be that high. :) AS for file translation, Poser can import .3ds files and then you can always export them again as an .obj. The .max files you are going to have a problem with because as said above, it's not just the objects, but all the info of the scene. One more thing to check out is on the free stuff pages. I think there is a utility to make integration between max and poser easier. Perhaps you can then unlock those .max files. I'm not sure though, I've never tried it or looked into it much. DRagontales

Who's talking about putting images in the wrong gallery....I'm talking about images that incorporate more than one program and hence more than one gallery selection.
Thread: Gallery changes... | Forum: Community Center
As I said in the previous thread, I think if we were able to click on multiple categories, then a lot of this would be solved. This way images that may be in a less viewed gallery, may get more hits because they also incorporated some poser elements for instance. I ususally use 3d max and would actually post my images there because most of the work was done there. However, I put them in poser (and yes, they do contain poser elements) because I'll get more traffic that way and hence more feedback. However that doesn't allow me to then get the imput of those only viewing 3d max images. I've seen the way others deal with this, and that's by posting two images of the same thing. One in one gallery and one in the other. That wastes your disk space and viewer's time. By being able to click on multiple program or sections, we can elimate all this.

Cool, I checked it out, and am very interested, but the thing I'm not sure about is whether or not this character is for use with the stock p4 male, or if I need to buy Michael. Dragontales
