If you had beta 0.9.1.6 you should get rid of it. Normally, when installing 0.9.2.0 it ask to uninstall the previous one. Or maybe a bad download. Mine works fine.

Hi Djeser
Yes I've tried to import a character from Daz ( a Kid ) to Vue. The obj file was no problem at all. I could see the kid in my landscape but all the texture, hair.. etc.. gone.
I've been trying of course manually but what a nightmare and for a not very result. No it's not the way to go.
I wisk I could find an importer/plugin or whatever to import directly a Daz character to Vue. PS: I was using Daz Studio who can now save obj file

xoconostle are you saying that the Plugin for Bryce to import from Daz Studio is also working with Vue 2, 3 and 4? It could be a good news for the non Poser people..!

Well at Daz they've got a plugin for Bryce so they could produce a plugin for Vue as well. Daz Studio for the moment has no animation but it will, you can be sure of it. Bones in Vue .. heumm ..don't think so, not for a long while anyway.

I'm very interested. Your project sounds great almost like a dream. What do you mean by " the Daz thing "..?

Yes I know that Vue with Mover work great with Poser, but what about those who don't have/want Poser..? They also want to populate their landscapes.

First you need to have ' things ' in the Content = Figures, Faces, Poses, Hair, clothes etc... So you have to buy from Daz those 'things'. Or you can download the Egyptian Scene which is already full of 'things' and free. Good luck

Oh.. yes I know that. I've had the same thing over and over. I've tried so many times..! Now it's okay and I can't really explain what happened. I never use the X - Y or Z Scale with obj otherwise my model goes crazy... I use ONLY Scale. Can't wait for the new version. Actually is 0.9.1.6 Good luck

No problem for me importing obj straight into Daz Studio. Use "Import" from File. In the new window under "Files of type" clic the little arrow and pick "obj". First think you have to do is to rescale to about 2% instead of 100%.. juste to be able to see it properly and then from there you can play with it. Good luck
