Thread: P7 Depth of Field | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the help. I did check the forum but didn't see anything about depth of field, but maybe I didn't look back far enough. Also thanks Miss Nancy, I'm going to check out the tutorial now.
Thread: Problem with P5 locking up | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ok, I set my swap files to 2000 MB each on my C & F drives. C/ is the main drive where Windows resides and F/ is where my P5 is stored. That's a total of 4 GB swap file, but my render still locks up half way through. Would it help if I made it 4 GB on each drive? This is frustrating!

Try Poserworld.com, they have a complete Saloon Gal outfit including bloomers, etc. There is a fee to subscribe, but it's well worth it considering the large number of outfits, props and scenes available.

Is that 4 GB based on drive sizes or is that just your suggested standard? Does it matter that I may not have 2 GB of space on one drive?
Thread: Why no comments? | Forum: Community Center
I agree that I should have added a texture or at least a bump map to the socks. As far as her legs, that's the freckles of the texture you're seeing.

I'm going to take everyone's advice and keep posting, but not worry about the comments. Thanks!

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I'm just as guilty as everyone else about getting in too much of a hurry and not commenting. I think I'll make it a point from now on to follow the golden rule and take the time to give the artist some feedback when I like their work or can suggest a way to make it better.
Thread: Firefly Rendering Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That's where I had it set. I have texture filtering off, minimum shading rate 0.5 for production renders, pixel samples 3-4, bucket size 32, raytrace bounces 0, and post filter size sinc or glaussian type 2-4. Renders still look really soft and I get small black lines that show up at various points on the image, especially on the face. Any suggestions?

Thread: System crashes when Poser closed | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have tried closing the session then exiting the program but it still crashes. Checked the poser.rsr and it is not read only. I don't even want to think about reinstalling XP!!
Thread: Computer Crashes w/ XP Home | Forum: Poser Technical
When you get the "Cannot find .obj" message you can fix that by going to Geometries (note the file path given in message) and delete the .rsr file for that object. Do NOT delete the .obj file itself. When you next open that character Poser will regenerate the correct .rsr file. Learned this trick the hard way! BTW, Creative Labs tech support recommends that I disable all startup items before running Poser. My be a conflict with Norton A/V. I'll give that a try and report back.
