Thread: Charisse, anyone interested? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks all, I'll get her posted today. Yes, I know about the sofa, lyrra. But this really wasn't a "real" render for me. Just for illustration purposes. I did, try to put a pattern on the cushions, but the distorted oddly in front (yes, I used the map). I didn't want to take the time to figure it out yesterday. Thanks for the imput, though, its always appreciated. :)

Also good pose and love the angle of the head and how he's looking up at you. But I echo Rob's question on the marks.

LOL!!! Ah...I thought this was only at my house ;) Actually, I told my guy they ought to have a message board for all the estranged spouses of us 3D people.

Most of the stuff here is for PC. Go to the utilities section of Free Stuff and get MacConverter and while you're there get MacInstaller (really helps if you're new to this :) They're wonderful programs by MartinC. And yes, it was helpful to mention you're on a Mac.

By the way, sorry Anton, I misspelled your last name. Should be "Kisiel" He posted the texture right in the forum, here is the link. http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=125116 Yes, Melanie, you were right. He can be a Poser "hunk". ;)

I, too, have bought tons of stuff there and never had to ask for my money back. One time the coupon didn't work for me and they fixed it.

If Phil has a PC he can't use MacConverter. Only Macs can. If you zip up your PC files as normal, our Stuffit expander can unzip and we can convert the files. Don't spend your money on software you don't need, spend it on something fun instead. ;)

Oh yes, right. I sometimes forget that. Its especially good if you're trying to hide lots of parts. Less tedious.

Go to "objects" on your menu bar and choose properties. You'll get a dialog window giving you the option to check or uncheck for visible body parts.

ooops...I'll remember that. I love sarcasm, having been raised with it by my family from a young age. BTW, is there a sarcastic smiley face?

Well, to change the subject :) Sprite... "Artists never fail to amaze me. We are so hung up on realism with poser and trying so very hard not to use post rendering and such to make our stuff as true and real as possible..." What's this about realism and no post rendering. Often, I ve seen images not post rendered that look anything but real. I guess I'm not a purist. I believe poser is a tool to assist in making imagery and I do fair amount of post rendering, because the final product is what counts for me. Not that I just rendered it straight from poser. As for your other points, a greater variety of all types of body shapes is a good thing to have. And no, I don't think you're a sexist pig if you find a certain type attractive. I believe we all have ideals for what we consider attractive. And there is nothing wrong for people to have these ideals as long as they don't denigrate those who fall outside of those parameters. From the way you talk, I feel you respect the differences of others.
