That's the plan :) And that's why the question if anyone else is interested before I recreate the head. If it's just for me, then the Daz head is fine. Either way it's been fun learning Rhino. :) Rich

Any suggestions? I was creating this to the scale that the figure sat inside the curve of the harp, I placed the hand as a seat, but I'm also not happy with it. :) Not sure to replace it, re-design it, or just plain scrap it and rescale it to be more of a hand held, or fill the arc with strings for a more full look. Suggestions are more than welcome from any and all! :) Rich

http://www.ameeron.com/lady_video.htm If I may join in on this conversation, I also have a WIP that I've been ignoring for a few months. I really need to get back to work on it. :) RichThread: The new free item at daz | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Cool, Very similar to what I used, but I didnt start with the template, I resized it down to fit over it. I have noticed in some study over the weekend, that the colored portion of the eye is lightly too large. I'm going to reduce that and give your eye's a try. Thanks, Rich
Thread: Advanced Bryce Creations book | Forum: Bryce
I can't really see the images that well, but from what I can make out, there really isn't anything on there that we couldn't teach you how to do here. They looked pretty basic to me. They're all just a matter of dedicating a few days to create, that's the main thing. I will gladly offer my services here to teach you what I can, and I know there are a lot more people that are MUCH better at it than I am that will be glad to help as well. (That's why most of us are here. :) Send me an image of what you're trying to do, and I'll try to step you through how they were made. Glad to help any way I can, Rich@ameeron.com
Thread: How long have you used poser and how old when first used computer? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This is a fun thread! :) I am 40, and got my first computer back in '82. A brand new VIC-20. (With a 16k memory expansion card! What power!!) Ran the history gauntlet of all the pc's, including the Columbia CP/M machine that ran a BBS for many years. I discovered Poser 2 back when I did Tech support for Photoshop (V.3) and some of the others in the area were playing with it and Bryce. I have been hooked on both since then. That has to have been 6 or 7 years ago. I now teach people how to use them in class. (OK, Photoshop officially in class, but I let them play on my laptop to get them hooked on 3D design as well) Good to meet you all. Rich

I will never turn down the chance to learn something new. I followed a tutorial I found for making eyes, and it was pretty good, but I would like to know how you create them. I am very fluent with Photoshop, so I will be able to follow what you are saying. I appriciate the help. I'm also following the thread from the person asking for help in getting her texture "download ready" so other people can use it. This project is really making me appreciate the work people put into the human photorealistic textures! :) Thanks again for the help Rich rich@ameeron.com

I think my vote will be cast for the lighthouse photo from Fractallus. Just a sucker for a good lighthouse image I guess.

My upload attempt failed at imbedding an image, so I placed it in the gallery instead. I really want to give Fractalus credit, as it was that photograph that inspired this image. My work day was slow, so I figured a challenge entry could take up my slow time today. :) Thanks for the challenge and the inspiration for a nice image. It reminds me of the Tall ships when they sail around the Aberdeen area near where I live. (Pacific Northwest, USA)and to me, that means spring and summer are here. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Our own cookies make user accounts and other features possible.
