Obviously, my solution wasn't a retroactive one, as no one can go back in time and change how they provided images, even if external linking had been a possibility at the time. What I suggested is for  now.

Edited to add to Simon: Maybe if enough people pipe up, they'll allow that old option of deleting / editing links. : )

Yeah, you have a good point there, TwoPynts. I forget sometimes that everyone may not know about storage options. Well, I'd like to recommend photobucket.com for just such a purpose. Free storage, easy to use.

That's the whole point, TwoPynts. :tongue2: We don't have the ability to do it within rendo, and saying we want to be able to remove an image isn't accomplishing anything in the meantime. At least there is an alternative to give folks a measure of control.

I find it quite easy. My online images are organized into specific folders, and if I want to remove something here, I can easily delete the image and be done.

I'm glad I mentioned an option that the programmers took the time to include. Just goes to show it's best to make many people change something for the few that object. ;) LOL

Why can't people use this option? That way the artists who want to show nudity in their avs can do so, and those who don't want to be in a situation where nudity in avs causes problems can control that. I had seen this before but didn't pay much attention to it until I asked Stacey a question regarding nudity. My answer was right there in my options, but I hadn't read them thoroughly.

If anyone is concerned with being able to delete an image, upload your image somewhere else and link to it in your post. All you'll have to do later is change the name of the hosted image, or delete it from that webspace.

That's one solution, anyHOO.

I'll gladly blame rendo for that issue, even though it happened right after fiddling with my cookies.  And a couple members I emailed were seeing rendo jes' fine at the same time I was locked out. lol
