Thanks again, but I'm not using the account pages like you normally do.
The program I'm working on collects the data from the account pages automatically and process them offline, but for that I'd like to be sure how the product update system works, so the data are being processed correctly without errors. Therefore the specific questions in my first post. They should be easy to answer - I think any vendor could answer them but I don't like to bother any of them if I can get the answers here.
Otherwise, if there is a FAQ for vendors with info on how files are being updated you could point me to, that might do as well.
Thanks!
Thread: Product Update question | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Thanks, I know that, but that doesn't really answer my questions.
Case is that some of us have several thousand products in our accounts here and the number is constantly growing so we're working on an offline database program to automatically keep track of our products, notify us when they are being updated by scanning the account data etc.. Doing that manually is an almost impossible job. And for the program to work reliably we need to know how to reliably detect when a product has been updated.
So if you could help out with answering these questions I'd be grateful. I'm sure someone at RR must know these things. :)
Thanks!

OK, on the search field however it says "Title" so I thought it only searched on product names. Would be nice with an option for that.
Thread: Cheap Trick... | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Same here. Out of 10 grab bag items, 5 were addons for things I don't have and never would buy. Of the remaining 5 there was 1 I might have purchased.

There are several other clearance items with a wrong price like this one:

Some were included in the beginning, but suddenly disappeared from the category, like this one (and several others from that vendor):

Product pages for items that are no longer available are usually still present, you just can't find then via a site search. Using google however you can search on "item-name renderosity" or something like that then a link to the page will usually show up.
Can't find anything on google when searching on Mackenzie though so you may have got the name wrong.
Thread: Question about re-downloading already purchased models | Forum: Community Center
Quote - I will go and reset all of your downloads for you so at least you will not run into the issue of "You have exceeded your Downloads" on any products.
There's still a limit for how many times you can download a file, after moving to amazon? Why actually? DAZ for example now have unlimited downloads. It would also save you to have to reset all the time.

I know this is a bit late but for others who need to download a lot of files this one makes it a lot easier:
Thread: Script for increasing/reducing dial Sensitivity | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - For what it's worth, here's a VERY OLD script that I wrote back in 4004 BC or so. I don't know if it will still work in later Poser versions.

Thanks, it actually seems to work on PP2012. But like the readme says, not on all dials. Still, it's not exactly what I was looking for, unfortunately, but it might be helpful in case I'd try to write a script myself.
BTW, my Poser uses our local standard for the decimal separator which is comma, however in your script I have to use a period otherwise I get a runtime error. Just in case someone else with that setup is trying it.
