ED, that is not really the point now. The images showed a hat, pants, and top. I was told the textures are for the pirate outfit from PoserWorld. I bought the pirate outfit so I could use the textures, only to find that the pirate outfit has a headscarf and no hat, and that the textures I bought were for pants and top only, and no headwear. The image showed a hat! A hat that had the same textures as the rest of the outfit. The subsequent images showcasing the other colours also had hats with matching textures. The textures don't include hat/headscarf textures, and the pirate outfit doesn't have a hat at all. I bought textures (thinking it was an outfit at first), for a hat, top and pants. I bought the pirate outfit that the merchangt said I need to use their product. I can put textures on the pants and top of the pirate outfit, but not on the headscarf, and there is no hat as shown prominently in their advertising images. I have been in touch with the merchant and they sent me alink to a free tri cone hat, but that is not the hat in their images, and there are no textures for the hat period.

This is the outfit I bought, but from Poser Pros. I was browsing there and the thumbnail of a close up head with hat in red jumped out at me, so I checked it out and bought the item. I see it's also sold at this site too. Neither place indicates the hat is separate and not part of the pirate package, and are not included in the texture package. However, if you read the 'read me' file here, you can see that there are no textures listed for a hat or headscarf, but it doesn't indicate that in the details, which seems covert to me. I wouldn't tell people to not buy from this person based on this one incident, because it could very well be isolated. But I am unhappy with what has happened and I feel I spent money on things I never would have purchased just because I thought I was getting what was in the merchant's image.

They do indicate on their images that Character, poses, hair and props are no included. However, they don't indicate that the textures don't include textures for the hat shown. The thumbnail, and the full image show a hat, top and pants all with matching textures. There are other image samples showing the outfit in 2 other colours as well. All images show the hat with co-ordinating textures that match the pants and top. But nowhere in their product description do they say that the hat is not part of the outfit and textures are not included. Which is why I feel I was mislead, especially when they use an image of the head wearing the hat as a thumbnail to capture your attention.

From what I know DAZ Studio has a smaller learning curve than Poser, plus a feature that I wish was available in Poser... preview without having to render.

Well, the merchant's "fix" to this issue is to give me a link to a site for a free hat that I can use. However, the hat is not the hat or style of hat that is used in their advertising images, nor are there textures available for it so that it will match the rest of the outfit as in their advertising images.

I'm rather ticked off :( I asked for a refund because I feel I was mislead into my purchase.

Interesting. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth though. I'd opt to go with M3 over that V3 male one because there are more options available for M3. I have never seen the result of V3 Male, but I assume it's an effeminate looking character, and there are a number of those available for M3.

I've been curious about this V3 to male figure. What clothing would you use on such a figure? It's still V3, but different proportions and male, so V3 girly clothes would look stupid, and it's not M3 so that wouldn't work.

Why didn't you just refuse to accept shipment at the door when the package arrived? It would have been sent back and your credit card credited... minus shipping costs.

Yes I did. Very nicely done props. I notice that some are for 3DS and Vue though. I'm mainly looking for traditional decorative fans, parasels and stand up screens. I did see a "wall hanging" and downloaded it, but I'm not sure if it's for poser or not yet.

I think that the changes only apply to figures that look under 18 years of age. If an image comes into question, it's up to the moderators/admins to determine if in their opinion the figure appears under that age and rule to either remove it or leave it. Personally I don't know what an 18 year old looks like. I see kids who are 10 and 12 being mistaken for being much older than they are. Girls are developing faster and wearing makeup, boys are taller, they dress in "adult" style clothing, their vocabulary is more grown up (if they don't speak in that stupid Dewd speak) . The only way to really know is by asking the parents.

I was just at PoserPros and didn't have a problem. Was there yesterday a couple of times too.
