I should of mentioned that I,m back down to 2gigs. This proved to be more reliable. My memory (brain) is sometimes virtual, I'm told, but I think I reset that a few monthes ago when I pulled the memory stick. I'll double check. I never touched a pc until I bought P5 last year, so the "hill" has been quite steep for me. Thanks for the reply. R

I render to a new window(stock size) But save it as a Tiff. Document window is maxed for my sreen 1400x1000. Main camera almost always for all the tools. I use IK only when making hip rotations as this can screw up some Preset (puchased) poses. Also save Figures with IK off. Now, adding texture at the 11th hour sounds clever. I'll try that. Some scenes are so complicated and tweaked it would be hard to remember all of them, though. You might as well save them on your file. I usually close all tools that are not needed to avoid punch- throughs (click on lib. and hit depth cueing). This is not a recommend, as I'm still learning. Richardson

Lips? Personally, I find every single part on V3 to be plump or round or otherwise under 20. Not everyone knows that Lips Thin are just a few clicks away. The rest is good marketing in a tough market. Don't worry. The "next gen" has much worse things in store for us.

RDNA has Kink wear or fetishV3 in their store. Can't recall the name. Inside there are a pair of "heels" called ballets that would come close to that. Boots not made for walking, as it were.

It's Win2k with a new WD-120GB (8mb cache). The crashes are random, though. I can only duplicate them 50% of the time. Will defrag, though. Wonder if some brain out there is developing the "Render PC" with linux and 40gigs of dimm. I'm there.

This is a new one for me. I've worked around most of the crash causes. Never render before I save. But I got overconfident by saving to 1 PZ3. Why does it crash during saves? I would blame my PC since I built it. Too soon to tell. I assumed it was common.

agree with all the above. HAve crashed at least 150 times with this system I built. After all the changes made above, the one thing that really made a difference, and I mean 1 was adding 2gigs of memory. P5 of course sucks all that up as well, but I have not crashed once. 512 was not enough. It worked sometimes and fooled me. Los Alamos Comp. make good models to get ideas from
