"Been so long ago"?? But nothing is "long ago" on the Internet! :)
To refresh everyone's memory, the small, beeping robot was Twiki:
Google Image Search, Twiki
Amazon.com probably has the best description of the Buck Rogers episodes... and pick up the DVD while you're there. ;)

The Starfighter will be coming next... probably within the next week or so.
And Erin Gray was even hotter in the second season (yes, the one that ripped off Star Trek and had Buck and Wilma on the Searcher). That's when she started wearing a mini-skirt instead of the skin-tight suit.
If any clothing makers feel like making Buck Rogers-themed outfits:

Attached Link: A4 at Content Paradise
Don't forget it's also for sale at [Content Paradise](http://www.contentparadise.com/us/user/a4_skyhawk_product_27768). And it's also in the "Featured Products" section on CP's main page. :) And not to change the subject away from this excellent model, but we already have a [Stealth Fighter](http://www.vanishingpoint.biz/productdetail.asp?productID=73) (based on the F-117) available for sale at the various marketplaces

To clarify what EnglishBob said: you don't need to include the rsr files under the RuntimeGeometries folder. These files are only used by Poser 4 and if they're not found, Poser will simply re-create them.
Poser 5 (and above) doesn't use these rsr files anymore.
Basically, these rsr files just take up space in the zip file. ;)
But, don't confuse these with the rsr thumbnail files found in the RuntimeLibraries folders, which are needed to see what the item looks like.

Thread: How do you get a poser image into photoshop7? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Here's a second question: why do you need to save a file from Poser as ong, jpg, or tiff when Poser will save it as a native Photoshop file? The original question was how to get a Poser image into Photoshop. The answer should be "save as a Photoshop file".

Thread: OT: Apple's PC & Mac guy commercials and Vista | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I didn't mean to spark a Mac vs PC debate- I just thought the commercial was funny!
Does it convince me to buy a Mac instead of PC? No.
Does it convince me not to install Vista? Partially, but I know enough to do some research on Vista to make sure it's right for what I do.
Changing the subject slightly: has anyone seen the movie "Accepted"? When I saw the trailer for the first time, I thought, "Hey, Mac Guy is in a movie!" That guy may become stereotyped as "Mac Guy" forever. ;)
Now, let's get on to a more serious discussion: as everyone obviously knows, Picard was the better captain.

Thread: Making a Mat | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you're using P6 and P7 (and P5), you can save the settings as a Material Collection file by either saving the single material or every material for the figure. This way, you don't even need a MAT pose. Though if you want to use the file in P4 (or Pro Pack) or if you want to use the file outside of the Materials Library, then you'll want to turn it into a MAT pose.

Thread: O/T has anyone received SPAM today that resembles this: | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Keep in mind that a list of valid member e-mails is one of a website's most valuable assets.
But, if a site was selling the member's e-mail addresses, would they tell anyone? Would they even tell other people in the company? What would the marketing department think if their anti-spam advertisements were becoming worthless because someone in the sales department was selling e-mails to the very people that the marketing people told customers they were being protected from?
So, you could ask Yahoo and Hotmail (for example) if they sell their addresses and they'll always tell you "no"... even though the person who responds may not even know that the sales department is doing.
However, it's tough (and wrong) to accuse a site of selling e-mail addresses without definite proof.

Thread: Leaks - Renderosity got hacked??? | Forum: Community Center
Another way for spammers to get your address is to legitamately purchase it. They buy a list which was purchased from a site who purchased it from a site who bought it from Yahoo or Hotmail.
After all, one of the biggest assets for sites like Yahoo, MSN, and Hotmail is their list of active, real e-mail addresses. If they can get even 5 cents per e-mail, they could probably get $200,000 or more... which always makes the accounting people very happy.

Thread: Creating MAT files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Or just follow my tutorial on how to create a MAT pose from the figure file: basically save the figure back to the library, open the cr2 in a text editor, remove the non-MAT information, and rename it as a pz2 file.
Plus, when you add the item to the Figures Library, Poser makes a thumbnail for you.

Do you know who created these items? I couldn't find any contact information on the web page.
I'd like to get permission from the artist and convert these to Poser format. :)

Thread: Possible Solution to Your Program Incompatibilities with Vista | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This same tip also works in XP: if you have a program that is designed for use in Windows 98, you can right-click on the icon and set the program-compatibility to Windows 98.
But by now, most programs should be working fine on XP. ;)

Thread: How do I create a mirror in Poser 6? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
First, make sure you're using Poser 5 or above: P4 and Pro Pack don't support ray-traced reflections.
Next, go to the Material Room and select the "mirror" material on the Veepster.
Next, apply a reflection node. Here's a tutorial on my website: How to Make Reflections in Poser 5 (and above).
After that, check your Render Options: make sure you use the Firefly Renderer (the P4 Renderer doesn't support ray-traced reflections). Also make sure you use at least 3 or 4 ray-trace "bounces": more is better, but the more bounces, the longer the scene will take to render.

Thread: Anyone Found A Way to Make Delete Button Work in Poser 7? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Keep in mind that P7 seems to "take it's time" because it's actually storing the deleted item in memory. That way, you can hit Undo and bring the item back... yes, that's right- Undo actually works in P7.
In fact, depending on your preference setting, you can undo the deleting of the item even after you've made 10, 20, or 50 changes to your scene.
But, yes, like the posters said, P7 still has the "focus" issue where hitting Delete will move you up one Library folder instead of deleting the selected item.

Yep, Helgard and Panko did an excellent job with this... and it's completely free with Poser 7. Just go to your Figures library and it's ready to go.
