no matter whether you spawn MT's or do it via "add to libraryselect subset" - i dont think its worth the effort. what looks like a friendly smile on the default face might look like a stupid grin when applied together with HdAfrican1=1.00000...just an example.

its the name of what used to be my favourite bar in my "wild" days, but i havent been there for quite a while - just kids hanging around there by now...;)
Thread: Dynamic Cloth stopping half way through calculating | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
sometimes its better to split the simulation. something like this... - 1st simulation to make the cloth fit to mike in zero pose. spawn morph target for the dress. clear simulation. - 2nd simulation to bring mike to the final pose. collision with mike only. MT. new sim. - 3rd simulation: collision with mike and the throne. pull back the throne in frame 01 and push it slowly under mike's six. in this last sim i'd export the sitting mike - without head, fingers and stuff, then import the obj (weld vertices!) and run this simulation with the mike-prop and the throne only. simulations with props usually calculate faster than those with figures - somehow less complicated, i s'pose. i hope this helps... an easy way to "remove" bodyparts peeping trough is to make those polygons invisible: - select the bodypart. - start the grouping tool. - create a new group (default is New Group). - select all the polys you do not want to see. - assign a new material to this group (default is New Material). - go to the material room to make this new material invisible.

funny, now we talk about it..... i just ran into a posing pz2 from danies pose boutique. this file sets a pose as it should, but after actor lToe it starts again from actor rThigh and zeroes the morph channels of both legs... really weird! you see, even good merchants make their small mistakes, and IMO danies poses are the only ones worth their money.

well, heres my suggestion: read the files in your text-editor before you install them. and take a look at the file-size before you do that. a simple posing file with more than 50 - 60 kb will most likely make trouble. a (V3)morphing pz2 with some 200 kb includes the zeroed morph-channels and will inevitably erase all your previous settings. install nothing before you know what it really is. sure, its boring, but its save.... Thread: deleting frames 1 to 29 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote:"By the way, frames 2-29 do not take up any memory, as long as no keyframes are set within this range. So clearing out frames doesn't do anything, really." sure, youre right! still i think s important to be able to control a pz3 frame by frame. most of my pz3s contain variations of the same theme - think of it like a comic strip, where each frame carries the story a bit further. if id have to save each frame in a seperate pz3...on a 70 gig HD...christ! A. ps: check you site-mail...

-in frame 30, spawn a morph target for the cloth. -delete the simulation. -set the MT to 1. -select all of frame 30 (lclick+hold) by dragging the white selection box from the top to the bottom. -click on the "add key frames"-button. -lclick on the selection and drag it to frame 1 (white selection box turns blue). -select frame 2-30. -press the "Del" key.
