When I started to create my first morph, Amy for Victoria 3, I questioned about that. In fact, I don't think there is an universal answer. I noticed DAZ is based on 1unit = 8ft as the scale of their products, it is reflected in DAZ Studio. At that time, I made a metre stick (I'm living in a country using metric system), I used it to measure the height of the characters. Therefore, I found that Victoria is taller than me, Aiko is shorter than me. At the end, I created a scale pose for my morph. Amy for Victoria 3/Aiko 3/Victoria 4.2 is 170cm in height. Then, I found that Dr. Geep has a good tutorial about the scale. As long as you stick to one scale, you should be fine. If you get some new props, you can use your own measurement to re-scale it. For example, when you get the model of the house, you can measure the height of the door and use it as a reference. Based on the fact that constructions in real world follow some standards, you can figure out how tall is that door should be. It works for me. I'm sure that someone has another way.
Thread: Blender with Morph loader from DAZ | Forum: Blender
Hi philbart,
Which version of Blender are you using? I use version 2.49b and my morphs and clothing are made by using Blender. I do not have any problem related to the stuff I did with DAZ Stuido.
Can you give me more details? I think I can help you.

Thread: Antonia - Opinions? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Of course, without the DAZ setup tools I wouldn't have been able to make JCMs of the quality that Antonia has.
"DAZ setup tools" is the figure setup tools that come with DAZ Studio 3 Advanced Bundle?
Quote - I think phantom3D said he might be interested in working on an alternative, less JCM-heavy rig for Antonia one day. That'll probably be a while, since he's got his own figure to take care of first, but when he does, I it'll be quite interesting.
phantom3D, do you have any update?
DRAKELOT, your BodySuit for Antonia looks great! How it is made? What tools are you using?
Thread: Antonia - Opinions? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have a question about the bones arrangement. I noticed that the Antonia has hip and hip2. It seems that it makes Antonia's legs bend naturally. I just wonder if it is possible to have some "hidden" bones driven by the main bones to deform the character instead of using the traditional JCM.
I'm going to make a conforming clothing for Antonia. Is there any good tools for making JCM?
Thread: Antonia - Opinions? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I just came across this thread. With no doubt, Antonia is the best non-commercial female Poser character I ever seen. I wish I could contribute something to Antonia. How can I start?
Thread: Poser script... | Forum: Blender
I'm interested to use this script to make/modify rig for conforming clothing. Where can it be downloaded?

Thread: Conforming clothes that can be used by V 4.1 magnetize pose | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you both of you for taking time to reply my questions. Now, I have better understanding about the magnetize pose. There are information about the magnetize pose stated that not many clothing support that, therefore I wondered how to make the clothes that can be used with the magnetize pose.
I'll go ahead and make a piece of clothes for Victoria 4.1 and see how's things working out. I may have more questions, but I will shared the end result as usual because it will not happen without others' help.
Thread: Where I can find this props/scene? | Forum: Freestuff
I've found the original model creator, Stefan Morrell. This is his freebie couple years ago. But he said, "unfortunately it's been retired & I have no immediate plans to re-release it". Therefore, I think I lost this nice model at least for now.
Thread: Conforming clothes that can be used by V 4.1 magnetize pose | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - If a clothes item is conforming then the magnets will work (this is because to be conforming the body parts have to match).
Do you mean that it is not necessary to create the morph for the clothing to work with V4.1 magnetize pose? That's simple!
Thread: Is V4 worth it? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think it is worth to get V4. I purchased it before the new year with the promotional price. I would like to suggest that you get the complete version, not just the base. I'm impressed with the morph dials, they looks complicated but after spending time with it. I can create something that does not look like Victoria from head to toes. I'm using DAZ|Studio. I've heard that it doesn't perform very well in Poser. I've no clue because I'm not a Poser's user. To see how well it can morph, take a look at my morph. Without any customized morph, just by using the dials. That's the result:
You can see the comparison by taking a look at my avatar, which is the morph I created by using Blender for using with Aiko 3 LE.
I monitored the number of downloads of my morph, it is not as popular as my Aiko 3 or Victoria 3 counterpart. I still work on Aiko 3 because it consumes less computing power. Many of the users of my freebies still prefer Aiko 3 or Victoria 3. As a freebie creator, I prepared for the changes.
Thread: What is going on with the Free Stuff area?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm sure that it is not caused by sharecg. I'm still having my freebies posted there. BTW, there are less postings at sharecg. Some freebies creators have their own site are still posting their stuff. I guess the people still in holiday mood.
Thread: OT: Have your ran your screen name through a search engine lately? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Oh! I did a Google search on my screen name. It got about 380 hits. All link to me, some even with my e-mail address. BTW, no one want to search for my real name to look for me on the web. There are many Amy out there. LOL.
Thread: How do i Creating JCMs in V4 clothing ????? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
svdl, is there any tutorial about how to use the magnets that come with V4? I tried magnetize other clothes for my morphed V4. It doesn't work!
