Quote - I just type in the value I need , no dial twirling required.
Yes, but that's troublesome - first double click the dial, then select the input field, then use the keyboard to add new value, then hit Enter. Next time you use the dial you may have to change it back again, dependeing on what you're doing.
Thread: Script for increasing/reducing dial Sensitivity | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - The problem with such a script is that some dials in the character are set "correctly" and others need adjusting. A script would adjust everything, screwing up the "correctly" set dials. However... if you set the dial sensitivity once, then you can save that figure back to your figures collection and it will be set "correctly" forever after.
(And for the record... this is the fault of the person who designed the morphs... not SM.)
I'm not talking about morphs but primarily Poser's own camera dials, though it might be useful in many other cases. And the script should not change the basic settings of any dials, but instead enable e.g. the ctrl & alt buttons to temporarily change the dial sensitivity settings if pressed while using the dial.
The way I'd want it to work is that if you press e.g. ctrl while moving a dial (any dial), sensitivity for that dial would decrease by factor X, while pressing alt would increase it by factor X. X could be 10 for example.
An alternative might be including it as two menu points in the dial's context menu. There may be other ways as well.
Technically this is definitely possible by programming the source code, question is how complex it would be. Depends on how Poser is programmed in general. Whether it can be done by a Python script or some other 3rd party tool is also the question.

No problem... :)
Do you know if any major changes are planned for the site in the near future? I'm thinking of major structural or technical changes that will affect the account data rather than changes to the visual page design in the store.

Well I got an answer to my question in another thread, as I suspected files are being moved to Amazon S3 which is the reason for the changes to the link.
An updated version of the program has been uploaded now, if anyone should be interested. :)

IE8 doesn't work very well on a lot of sites anymore (no HTML 5 support) and it's not very secure (later verions of IE are much more secure). Programs that use the IE WebBrowser control for displaying webpages, which is quite a few, are having the same problems on XP/IE8 systems.
MS will soon not update XP with security updates anymore anyway, basically it's not very secure compared to newer versions anyway so the best thing is to upgrade to Win 7 or 8 which will solve all these problems.

Thread: Grab bag item already purchased | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Ah, sorry, my mistake. After I got it I checked my account if I already had this one as I wasn't sure, and it showed up when I searched. Didn't realize that the Grab Bag items would show up too in a search. If I already had purchased it it would show twice in the search, wouldn't it?
Thread: A script to change sensitivity values in all translation parameters for an entir | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wonder why they haven't made it so that you can change the sensitivity value for whatever dial you're using to something user defined by pressing a key while dialing. E.g. multiply by 10 pressing ctrl or divide by 10 by pressing alt.

Quote - That's because the joint center of the body actor is at feet level instead of hip level as with all other figures.
OK - will try your advice when I get access to my render machine later. Thanks!

I think they should extend the Clearance sale with one more day, site is so slow that it's a nightmare to deal with.

What has happened to the horisontal scrollbar? I can't even read some of the posts here because the text goes beyond the right side of the screen (it is a 26" widescreen monitor), and I can't scroll horisontally.
