I've got Poser 5 - hate it:) Could never get to grips with it. D|S seems so simple to use in comparison. I only use D|S in conjunction with Bryce 6.1

I'm glad I read this thread - I may have never discovered Max's work otherwise. Awesome images. Yes it's a shame that work of this standard doesn't get as much recognition as the many naked female images do:( Good thread jed!

My only criticism is that my pictures now appear on such a dark background. Alot of my images have black in the frame, and generally it just doesn't work for me. I hope we can change our gallery/homepage to a different colour. I don't mind the blue, but not the part of the gradient that is near black.

I think it may seem that the standard has 'dropped' because of the Bryce offers recently, making it more accessible and so creating more new users (but of course the number of members has increased alot in the past few months) . But yadda yadda, that's already been mentioned in previous posts.
I as an amateur am glad there is a site like this where I can post my images, hopefully get some good critical feedback, and improve. We all have to start somewhere , and Sunset hunter makes good points about giving feedback. I also like the mix of newbie and pro here, and have seen great work at both ends of the experience scale.

Yeah, had this problem too, so it's nice to know the Rend. team are aware and working on it. What I do is once the marketplace page has uploaded, close it then click the link in the email again and it then takes me to the correct page. Bit of a pain, but it works.

Yes, I checked back on the Daz site - the product information does not list .obj files at all as importable files. If I would have read this thoroughly first I might not have bought it!

Thanks bwtr, but .obj file (and cr2) are not listed in the drop down list of importable files when I use 'Import'. So at the moment I cannot import V3,M3 or .obj files. Any suggestions?

I must agree with you DesertGoddess - I could not understand all the fuss when she came out. I have yet to see a render where she doesn't look like some plastic doll, yet I have see great
renders of V3 many a time. I will continue to work with V3 until I see a major improvement to the way V4 looks. Definately not worth the money methinks. NIce to see someone else not jumping on the bandwagon!:)

This is becoming an extrememly popular 'game', although it is not a game in some senses but more a way of meeting and communicating with people. I have explored it myself. It is free to play so there's no harm in checking it out to see if you like it. It's all quite legit.

You can make an object mask which you can then use in your paint program to get a different background. There is a tutorial on it over at the Daz site:)

Yeah, there were sooo many entries - I don't envy the judges their task at all. It'll be great to see the results later, there were so many great images entered.
