Deal made great use of reflection maps in his boots, available in Freestuff. It would be worth downloading them, and looking at what his maps look like, then checking how he uses them on each material. - JimX

I belive that Quicktime will also do that (it's not a well-known feature, but it seems to works very well, if you can believe the demos). Two advantages: it is quite compact (the riplling happens on the desktop, not by downloading multiple images) and the viewer can interact with the ripples (click the cursor, and let it behave like dropping a rock in at that point in the pool).

Anton, I hope for your greatest success. Such Warez activity hurts all of us, as it discourages the sharing of artwork that makes the Poser community so great. We should each do something, even if a little bit, to help. Our advantage is that we are a large community. We may not be able to eliminate warez entirely, but we can make it harder, less pleasant and less profitable, just by lots of us pursuing the perptrators. - JimX

Like Bebop, I too stick with Posette (which is just a name for the standard female that comes with Poser 4). I have not found the limits in working with her (the limits are still my capabilities). But there is now some nice stuff appearing for Vicky and Mike, so I have been tempted by the CDs. But I figure I'll keep learning with Posette for a while. - JimX
