Thank you for this.
Just a pointer; the link as typed in your post is correct, but the URL itself adds a Renderosity reference which needs deleting.
Cheers.
Thread: A plea to product creators. Corqect your image references :( | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
looniper;
Are you sure about this? Every source I've seen says that the second of your examples preceded by a colon, i.e. ":yourfolders:image.jpg", is the correct reference to use, with Poser automatically assuming the "Runtime:Textures" part.
The main problem I've come across (only in freestuff, admittedly) is in items which have absolute, Windows-style file references - "c:program filescurious labs..." etc. That's a major pain if your default folder happens to be "e:poser 4".

gps has a texture called "Natural" for V2; see the link to his/her freestuff section. From what you describe, it might be shaved close enough for what you want.Thread: OT but fun; 2004 as seen in 1954 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Oh well - I fell for it, and now I know, it's obvious.
Even at first, though, I did think the last sentence jarred with the rest of the paragraph (was FORTRAN around in the '50s?); but other than that...
Thread: Pretty Kewl.. make your own point and click adventure games for free! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes - I can't remember the titles offhand, but there are three or four games that use AGS with Poser figures - for game sprites and cut scenes.
The program's easy to use for the basics of game programming, but the learning-curve gets a bit steep once you start building in more complex interactions.
The games themselves vary from wonderfully (and often deliberately) amateur to near-commercial quality.

I've just searched and found out that ratracer, the creator of 'The Uncertainty Machine', reckoned to be one of the best AGS games so far made, is a member and merchant here.

Thread: Has anyone used Singular Inversions FaceGen with Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Attached Link: http://www.singularinversions.com/customizer.htm
Ah - if only...I've had a look at the trial version. The sheer variety of the morphs and the intuitive interface make this a very special piece of kit. However, in the basic FaceGen package, you're restricted to the head mesh supplied with the program.
As I understand it, you can pay SI to adapt their software to your own projects, but it's a long, complex and expensive process.
On the other hand, SI (I think) provided the Face Room controls in P5. Maybe in the future...?

Thread: Eyes for Victoria & Stephanie | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you have the time and a decent paint program, you could also resize a V3/S3 eye (of which there are plenty on freestuff), paste it onto one of the eye positions in a V1 or Stephanie template, duplicate it onto the second eye position and use the template for your eye material.
If the above is gobbledegook, let me know and I'll explain.

Thanks for these links.
I hadn't come across any of the animations before. 'Fools Game' in particular is an extraordinary piece of work.

Charlotte Church was my first reaction. If it's not, I'm baffled too.

Open or closed source... One option would be to keep the executables free, but make the source available commercially. A lot of Delphi stuff is distributed in this way.
You've clearly put a lot of work into Inkulator/InkMaster, and it would be good to see you benefit from it.
Thread: >> NataliaFC >> free texture set | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't have Natalia, but I've downloaded them and they look good. However, the texture maps look very close to the DinaV layout - are the two compatible?

The Windows version of the Freak bundle seems to be broken - there are way too few megabytes.<
Unfortunately, you're right; the Mac installer is 30 Mb-plus. Now we know how Mac users feel; is there a utility for converting Mac Poser archives into a format which Windows can read?
The Animotions bundle is as follows:
Living Room by Architorture
Cave and Jetbike by Cauldron Arts
Poses for Dina V by Cazcie
Basics 2 for Dina V by Dacort
Film and Photo Collection by Dendras
Dina V character by DTG
V3 poses by Firecat
Viomar spacecraft by Ikyoto
Misty Blossom for DAZ PT by Jack D. Kammerer/ByteMeOK
Blue Room by Karanta
V3 arm/leg straps by lilflame
V3 Drag Queen Ultra Shoes by lluque
Nicotinus for M2 by NightCelt
V3 Bomber Noseart poses by Purr3D
Two furniture sets by Stormrage
DynaTex for V1 Clothing Pak / V3 by Sturkwurk.

There's real potential here.
From the UI point of view, I'd agree with the comments so far - sliders, spinners, etc., would be easier than text boxes. But it's early days yet, and I think this project will generate enough ideas and goodwill to really take off.
Sourceforge is a jungle when it comes to finding projects of relevance to a community such as this one. Does anyone know of any other SF-hosted apps which might interest Poser users?
