I might as well confess that to me the ultimate b movies and have to be one of my most secret guilty pleasures when it comes to watching movies are the movies made by Elvis. How can you not like the combination of music and beautiful girls combined with some of the most cheesiest plots and dialogues? If that wasn't bad enough, I also like Shirley Temple movies...
ARRRRRAGH!
Now I will return from the closet from whence I came

Each all of the ones mentioned are my favorites too. But what about the Hammer films of the 50's and 60's. Chistoher Lee as Dracula and the mummy, or Death Race 2000 and the follow up Death sport? Going back a little further, what about the orginal Flash Gordan and Buck Rogers serials with Buster Crab? Project Moonbase, based on a story by Robert Heinlein is also a good one if rarely seen.
When I mention these to kids now adays and try to get them to watch them, the first thing that they say, "oh yech no color! Or those are really cheesy." They even say that about the orginal Star Wars and I just shake my head. I had tried explaining that some movies like Star Wars and Forbidden planet were actually cutting edge movie technology at the time. They just don't get it. Of course when your world is totally wrapped up in PS2 or computer games then I would guess that movies, old movies, are boring......

Thread: Very OT: Sony hijacks your computer. (Not a joke!) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I found about this today and wasn't happy. I don't have any sony gear and haven't ever used my cd burner to play music with. I have a very nice stereo for playing music so I don't need to use my computer. But this reminds of years ago when VHS Movies first started to appear. There was a copyguard system called marcovision, it's still around, but I bought a movie and back then movies cost a bunch, this movie if I remember correctly cost around 80 bucks, and I couldn't play it on my VCR because of the stupid copy guard. The picture was so screwed up that no matter how I adjusted the tracking it would not play, and because I had opened the package, the store would not exchange or take back the movie, for years it sat on a shelf and I would try in various VCR's trying to find one that it would play in and I just remembered the movie it was Flash Gordon.... I don't want to rip anyone off but the whole system of copyguards it stupid. So body with the right know how and equip can defeat copyguard every time. The only people it stops is the everyday consumer....
Thread: OT = On Topic - How did *YOU* get started in Poser ??? ... ;=] ... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Way back when, I saw an ad for Poser 1 in a computer magazine and I have been hooked ever since. I have P5 now and I HAVE to play with P5 every day or I start having withdrawals.....
Thread: OT: How long can you sit before getting up. :) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hours and hours, but then I have MS and sometimes sitting is all that I CAN do. If I have a good book or working my computer, the longest I have spent is about 54 hours working on a project. I just didn't realize how much time had gone by till I started to stand up..... The bad thing was that a few day later my harddrive died and I lost the project... Butch

Thread: What was your reason for getting into Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I wanted to do my own comic books, but I can't draw a straight line with the help of a ruler. I found an ad for Poser 1 in a computer magazine and got it. Then followed up with poser 2 and 4 and finally 5. I really like P5 and plan to get P6 as soon as it stops being so buggy....
