I'm sure conforming props like horns fins and such would do well as would things like dragon riding props; saddles harnesses, etc.

Thanks Michael for explaining the differences. I was hoping there would be some geometry difference. Oh boy another dragon to add lip synch morph targets too =)

Thank you, yes found the Intuos1 Pen. I'm fine doing most things like airbrushing and erasing with precision, but an ink pen would help me leave paper behind. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with my stylus in my left hand and mouse in my right.
Thread: Graphics with "Atmosphere" :) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I enjoyed Adobe atmosphere when the beta was first released. As a modeler and animator I had the best time making all sorts of avatars and little worlds. Heck I got to chat with all sorts of industry people including 'Kupa' himself. One main drawback I found was as the worlds and avatars became more diverse it became harder to chat on just a 56K modem. Most of my time was spent in perpetual downloading. It has a lot of potential. Imagine using worlds as Renderosity chat rooms. You become your own art. Your avatar a graphic show on display. (Besides I think Renderosity members would appreciate the creative effort.) Maybe that's something to ponder in the future. Here's wishing CL and Adobe the best.

Nice to see the Avatar Lab is up and running. Hopefully it will draw more people to Adobe Atmosphere.

WarriorDL first let me say, thank you. Before Renderosity had the market place members used to exchange things and teach each other new techniques. Nice to see someone isnt trying to make money off of this. Once you have the figure diced up I can add lipsych to it if youd like. When I got the Zygote Dragon Hatchling the first thing I did was make some phoneme morphs.

Wild stuff, kind of reminds me of toys and cartoons from the early 80's, like the back story of Go-bots, or Max Steel Roboforce.

A very nice character, but I have to agree with Bob. (BTW do you intend to add textures to the package? The hair is looking for its texture.) A friend in rapid prototyping has been asking me for an Alice character for a while. Although I'd have to recreate it in nurbs, having a poser model would be fantastic to start with. I appreciate your hard works, and thank you for sharing.

So true Mike, I played with Atmosphere a lot making tons of avatars for it back in March. At first there were some really great developers of Adobe to talk with as well as software developers, where we had decent intelligent conversation. But it degraded to a dumbed down level. The developers lost interest and and there was a flood of worldwide clueless newbies. New people would pour in, and circle around have childish conversations then do nothing but ask me, "Oooh can I have that avatar", "Will you make me a ..." It was fun at first but after a while the joy was gone. I was hoping more would come of it. Michael

Thread: Shine map- a test with Vicki in Deep paint- WARNING NUDE!!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Catharina, I do use other apps besides Poser for rendering and post work. Frankly Deep Paint is one of my favorite ways to build texture maps. Just wanted to hear how you did it. Besides hey new things are discovered in poser all the time. Like how to fake global lighting with a quality similar to Lightwave's radiosity.

Catharina besides the banter about what Poser can or can't do, I for one would like to learn how you got your results. You've created some fantastic work.
