Thread: Rotation on 2 axes instead of 3 | Forum: New Poser Users Help
Gimbal lock prevention is why some 3D apps, such as MMD, use 'quaternions'. Down-side is they are much harder to calculate...
Thread: Recreating this classic Character | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sorry, though deleted DA accounts' work is often rescued, re-posted by others, I cannot find this classic character there or in my sprawling archives....
:-(
Thread: I can't be alone... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you.
Hmm: My render-queue's 'Box', a mere Ryzen 7 (1700) might handle a rather more modest scene, given a day or three...
Worth a try !!

{ Re-boots wits from speechless awe... }
Please, what scene size / render resolution are they ??
Thread: GPU rendering stops working | Forum: Poser 13
Playing with a high-poly OBJ+MTL (>50 MB file) scene ported from Skyrim, I found 'Dunstad Fort' with surrounds and auto-loaded TGA textures, its Alpha channels extracted to JPG then hand-applied, LaFemme wearing 'combats', her budget DS SnoCat crawler (!!) were just too much for this PC's now-ageing twin GPU cards...
So, test-rendered (5~~10) pixel samples, Superfly, progressive) using CPU, then sent 64 pixel-sample jobs to network render 'Box'...
Note original combination was1524 x 2875Â Pixels (4.38 MPixels) (0.53)
Thread: Objects vanishing / clipping as I move camera too far away | Forum: New Poser Users Help
FWIW, 'HITHER' can provide Muggles' X-Ray vision, by letting you position camera outside room and make intervening wall / tall furniture invisible.
Handy for forest scenes, too, when otherwise ideal camera location is right behind a tree...

Thread: How do you rotate a texture in a Firefly or Superfly Material? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
May I recommend the free Irfan View ??
It continues to evolve and, IMHO, has a friendlier UI...
Note XNView will access Alpha ('Transparency') channel of some formats that IV cannot yet. IIRC, neither XNView nor IV can batch-extract Alpha channels...

Thread: Trying to use obj as dynamic cloth | Forum: Poser 12
Bravo !!!
This may tempt me into yet-again trying to drape 'dynamic' cloth...
( Priority is replacing two pairs of old taps: They only need new rubber washers, but stem covers have seized-solid and there are no local isolators. So, those, too... )
Thread: Trying to use obj as dynamic cloth | Forum: Poser 12
Tangential, has any-one managed to get eg DS' d-force 'dynamic' clothes, exported as OBJ, to dynamically fit Poser figures such as LaF ??
Thread: Queue Manager questions | Forum: Poser 13
Care: QM may be baffled if, when remote-render complete, the target drive on your main PC is unavailable due stand-by / asleep / shut-down...
May only be for Win_10 plus P_11.3, but I had to re-boot my network-render 'Box' to untangle the mess, re-do render from stored PZ3....
Thread: Can move poser figures to daz? | Forum: Poser 13
IIRC, there's an excellent tutorial / sub-forum for getting Gen_3~~5 (V7~~9 etc) into Poser. Inspired by this, I ported 'Kalea V7 Rogue' to FBX, used it in P_11.3...
https://www.deviantart.com/nik-2213/art/DS-Kalea-7-Rogue-ported-to-Poser-as-FBX-Yay-951836762
( Keep those head-ache pills handy !!)
Going the other way, you may be able to do it by simply exporting clad Poser figure as FBX.
Sadly, there seems no practicable way to use either DS' or Poser's 'dynamic' clothing facility to simply drape an imported 'nude' FBX...

Thread: I need a new computer for Poser. Advice requested. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
IIRC, many 'legacy' mobos may be upgraded to Win_11 support by adding a plug-in 'Trusted Program Module' (TPM). Buys a couple more years for hardware...
Snags are header-types vary, and there's a bit of confusion at present due a lot of TPMs using Chinese chips: YMMV...
Firefly, so CPU-only renders ?? Yes, get lots of nimble cores, the more the merrier...
Uh, do Firefly renders use 'Render Queue' reliably ? If not spending fortune on bleeding-edge GPU card, you may be able to split your budget to get a multi-core, basic GPU, network-render 'Box' to supplement your main system. Set up your scene, check with 'fair' resolution local render, increase resolution and send job to 'Box'...
Next ??
