I recently went through this as well. With nearly 20 gigs of "for pay" work being caught in the cross fire. The older versions were on DVD however the newer (corrected) files had not been backed up yet. Needless to say I flipped out, the sources (downloads) wouldn't have been a problem. It was all the custom stuff. However I found a program from: lc-tech.com that worked perfectly and I recovered all but two textures which were on the DVDs. I highly recomend File Recovery (or File Recovery Pro) from lc-tech.com . It is for pay, but well worth it IMHO. And the only one that the demo even saw the missing files on. They saved my butt :) Tom

Thanks H. So I can redo those lines in (Insert favorite editor) to vn -1.0000 -1.000 etc. That should fix some normal problems.. thanks. Tom

I tell you, this is all some evil plot by Dodger.. He's an alien! An alien I tell you!. Just look at those eyes... I loaded this model and all the sudden the little silver thing was jumping around on my screen tweaking everything laughing like a kid while blairing from my speakers "What's this do!?" repeatedly. I couldn't handle it.. Thankfully I finally bowed my head and mumbled a wish "Please, just stop this and go away." And the thing's high pitched metal voice squeeked out "Okeydokey" and disapeared. It was a few minutes later before I realized he took all my animal models. So very strange that it could only be a plot by Dodger's evil alien genious. I'm trying.. What is that thing? Hey get away from me. I don't need a coat! What's wrong with the sleeves... Hey..

English Bob and VK thanks for the input. Yeah the joints are sorted, you'd think that it would switch the related neighbor body parts with the section you just switched.. but it's poser, should have expected it not to work at the same time. VK, okay that makes sense. Wings3D wrote the original OBJ file. I'll try what you suggested. Thanks, Tom

Thank you, However this is the source OBJ for a figure. That entry is from an OBJ, not a CR2 or any other Poser Native file type. The OBJ had those entries and that's what I was curiuos about. Thanks anyway.

Conforming Clothing is in the table of contents under : "Adding Clothing" Chapter 32 for Materials. Swapping body parts.. the swapping with props is in the manual. I'd suggest getting the basics down first however.
