Well Mate... as you saw on most of my Pix.... I don`t use this much lights usually!

But i`ve tried RGUS-Lightset. And he has implented this much lights, to get this "White-Effect".

May be it works better for HIM, cause he always uses ONE Character.

After i have done this "Monster" now (its not hard to imagine what this means for the CPU) i`ll try to delete half of the Lightcount in several angles. Hope this "White-Effect" will still be there.

In the end its just playing arround with it.... Normally i want to create my own lights.... cause THIS light is kinda "Trademark" that belongs to Deane....

We`ll see whats happen. In the very moment now i am at the 3rd Dancer.... rendering in passes.

And it takes long rendertime too..... cause of the huge amount of lights.

Hey.... you DON`T have to delete Clothes or Characters to HIDE them!!!

In the Propertypalette you have that checkmark "VISIBLE"

Just UNCHECK this!

This will HIDE the Character or Prop, and saves Computerpower then!

This ALL helped a LOT!

One last question:

Even if i`ve hided all characters except ONE.... the Render takes a long time with your recommended Settings.

The badest Effect is:

I`ve mimimised Poser while it is rendering. Now i tried to maximise it....and get a "Whitescreen".

Yes, sounds rediculous. But i cant see The workspace anymore.

Because the lightset has 28 lights its rendering the shadowmaps, adds objects etc.

But i wonder if i see the Mainwindow again.... or ..... is Poser hanging????

Has anybody EVER had such "Whitescreen" i talk about???

Hey Acadia!

With "multiple Passes" i simply mean:

1st Render - Dancer 1 (Pass 1)

2nd Render - Dancer 2 (Pass 2)

3rd Render - Dancer 3 (Pass 3) ...... and so on.

But i am german. May be the word "Pass" is the wrong word for such Method.

Oh.... you got me wrong, or i did not decribed it right!!!!

No, No.....The DAZ-Folder you mean i never moved. It is still one level higher in the Libraries-Folder.

INSIDE the POSE-FOLDER.... i made ONE SINGLE Folder, to contain the:

!V3 All Morphs INJ, !V3 All Morphs REM, !V3 Chest-Breast INJ, !V3 Chest-Breast REM, !V3 Ear-Nose INJ, !V3 Ear-Nose REM.....and so on (These are only pz2,rsr+pngs).

All in all this are 26 Folders. That was the Reason why i made a single Folder to contain ALL THIS FOLDERS.

When i scrolled my Poselibrary which is huge anyway, it took me too long always with those 26 Folders...which i dont need THAT often.

The trouble is: Since those INJ+REMs are in this Folder....Poser always asks (for example) "please locate EarAnimal1.pz2"

May be i have to change a line inside the pz2s?????

Or do they have to stay explicit in the POSE-Libray, like it was when i installed them?

Renderosity is no Pornpage..... this are Artists... and im in here about 4 years now... and never saw Porn!!!!They were born naked, theyre naked when they make children (mostly)...... I understand the TOS.... and the sense in it....... but i DON`T understand the minds and souls of those "disablers"

Even if  THIS question has nothing to do with BVH-Motion.... i don`t wanted to open a new thread.

I have a large arrangement with 6 Characters and a BIG hall theryre in. Poser 6 cant handle this to render with shadows, raytracing (i have reflective walls n floor)....

I`ve read somewhere that you can render in batches.... mean: first the scene without shadows.... then ONLY the shadows, and so on.

Do YOU have an exact plan which "formula" is the best to do so? I only know that its important to save those pieces in PNG because of the layers.

I`ve searched all over the forum... but didnt found anything. Maybe my search-term wasnt that good. Also i didnt found a Tut.

Hi!

If you got yourself  WinRar and have it installed, do the following:

1st you can check if the Filepath INSIDE the Archive is correct.

Just doubleclick the A-Z.rar....when WinRar opens it and you see a Folder called RUNTIME inside... then its fine.

Close the Archive... take it to your Main Poserfolder and drop it there.

Now rightclick the A-Z.rar and command "EXTRACT HERE".

After that youre done.... if the content is a figure, youll find it in "Figures"... if the content is a prop, yoyou know where you can find it too.

But IF you check that Archive and you see NO Runtimefolder inside... you have to extract it anywhere, and bring the content manually to the folders.
