I believe it is. Ive seen others do it without problem. But its a legal copy (still in box with book) I don't see any problems with this transaction. Cedric

Wow, she looks great. Is this a poser model, or one you modeled personally and imported into poser? Looks awesome though Cedric

Thread: Poser 5 - Buyer's Beware!!!! PLEASE READ | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Me, Well I didn't have the problems many had installing, but whats killing me are the bugs inside the actual program. Like missing polys during render, the neck line problem, and so on. I bought P5 cause were using it to provide the graphics for our software product that we were working on (3d isometric game) (pre-rendered 3d) And so far, I get nice results (at times) but the render time is horrible and this neck line bug is making my renders look ugly. I haven't even tried to load scenery yet (Too scared :) CL is a great company, but with this release, Im beginning to wonder why and who tested this program. Cause they have clear in your face bugs that I KNOW they had to see, and yet they released it. WHY? Cedric
Thread: how would one fix the 2 tone skin texture in a render | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
thanks for the info. I have alot of respect for CL, but this is crazy. How on earth did they release this product with SO many bugs. I mean, I can understand minor or some under the hood bugs, but these "right at you bugs" are crazy. I mean, I know they had to notice this neck problem during beta. This would be like the makers or "EverQuest" releasing their game with a bug, that prevents you to log online. This are not bugs, these are UP Front errors that should have been fixed day 1. Man, now again, I have to delay my project. :( Cedric
Thread: P5 return policy for refund | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think CL works like most software dealers. If you opened the CD wallet, you can no longer return it. On my copy of P5 it had in bold type on a sticker on the front of the CD wallet that basically if you open this package you will be unable to return it. So if you opened it, tested it, and now you don't like it (due to the many occuring bugs) According to CL you are unable to return it. I hope this answered your question, but I guess a more direct answer from CL would be better. Cedric
Thread: My first poser5 render, not some of your stuff, but Im still proud :) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks, Like I said before, the dials are amazing cause some of my alignments are horrifing, if I turn the model to certain angles you can begin to see the horrible alignments. But im still proud. Cause soon I will be flawless with this. Now time to start animating... and exporting to images to test in our engine :) Cedric
