After reading your reply and doing to the download site, I rediscovered that someone else had pointed me there back in February. Nevertheless, I tried again by following the directions in the readme and installation instructions file that come with AVFix. Unfortunately, I did not have success in getting the Send in the Clones python files to run properly. I never got the Send in the Clones menu that the vendor did in his YouTube video:

Each time, a process would start in Poser but then several panels turned white and Poser would exit completely. I tried running AVFix before launching Poser as well as after launching Poser but before trying the Clones scripts.

I also could not get the Send in the Clones scripts to work in Poser 9.

After my reply to hborre, I checked the sizes of most of the new Common and Legacy files against the sizes of the same files that I downloaded last year. Many were exactly the same size. A few were slightly larger. A few were no longer on the new list.

Thanks for your offer.  I downloaded AVFix on Friday but have not tested it yet. I will let you (and others) know if AVFix fixed my problem or not.  If not, I may contact you for additional help.

I had this same problem in Vista and posted it back in July.  I got a couple of responses but no solution.  I encountered the same issue again tonight but and renewed my effort to try to find a solution.  I did a search of the forums and clicked into this thread which looked promising.  Paydirt!!  I did not know about the Compatibility Files.  Thanks a million!!

I will look for a soution in the near future.  How easy it will be to find or to implement will be another story.  Thanks.

Hello.  Thanks for the feedback and advice about creating an install directory separate from Program Files.  Unfortunately, I have hundreds of installs already to either Program Files (x86) or to Downloads.  Some files are hidden (and do not appear even when Show hidden files and folders is turned on) and some are not.
