Ive seen this mentioned on boingboing and slashdot, so... An RCA Victor title distributed by Sony that tries to install files in OS X. Don't give your admin password to a music disk. Real CDDAs don't have DRM.Thread: How to make this car shine? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't recall where I saw it*; but what they do is position a large, white rectangle above the car so ray-tracing gives a nice highlight that flows over the upper surfaces. *possibly no longer available at www.cardesignnews.com/studio/tutorials/index.php. But some Photoshop techniques there now may be of interest.

nakamuram: From Acadia's link you can get to "Costume Festival/Aiko 3 & XinXin" where you will find Fetish boots by BAT, and Half Boots and Sandals by Yamato for Aiko. And thanks for reminding me about PhilC's Archive, it was down the last time I tried.Thread: Anime Doll Kit | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Maybe you need to run the files through Poser Maconverter to get the correct file types for the Mac. Then Poser Macinstaller will put them in the correct location. Search on MartinC in Free Stuff

Raders! Excellent choice. I've got a set stashed in a barn, but they're the Sears style without the centercap instead of Empis. VWOA is pretty protective of their copyright. I knew a mechanic that had a VW logo routed into the wooden door on his shop. He had to bolt a piece of plywood over it. To be fair, others get away with naming what they work on. Well, I need to get a money order off to DAZ.

I knew if I lurked here long enough..... I remember you said it would be available in February--just not which one. And I'm glad you didn't know about the Product Showcase as I would never have seen the post. Do the wheels turn, spin and bounce? The Fuchs forged wheels off the 911 would work well on this and on your 356. Is that 2001 Mexican or New Beetle? I'll watch your web site for availability. cedarwolf: I'm hoping it was the windshield washer, not the wipers.

Try Dudley's 3D Auto Emporium. The '32 Ford roadster is available at DAZ3D.com (mentionerd by Niles), with some billet accessory wheels on the linked page. I think there was a track-nosed '27 T roadster in Free Stuff, but I haven't found it yet (I searched on 'hot rod', 'roadster' and 'car'). Maybe I'll find it later.Thread: New Beetle for Poser on the works... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
One other thing. When you get into the undercarriage, make the wheels spin, turn and bounce. That's so you can slam it to the ground.

For ten different model of New Beetle: http://www.vwvortex.com/resources/gallery/vw/new_beetle/index.html I like the Turbo S wheels: http://www.vwvortex.com/resources/gallery/vw/new_beetle/nb_turbo_s/pages/01.html And you might want to consider the convertible: http://www.vwvortex.com/resources/gallery/vw/nd_convertible/index.html I'm almost giving up hope on the Old Beetle.Thread: Desperately looking for a hi-res VW model, any help would be greatly appreciated | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
OK FWIW I found a Golf III 4-door in my Zips from 2000. The ReadMe lists: fgallard@tutopia.com icq # 38346158 That's only three years ago.

Well, I know you're looking for no-cost; but he offers up free wallpaper each month. Maybe you could e-mail him to see if you could use something for a link to his site. (I came back to the thread because I started thinking I hadn't been too clear, haven't seen an ebot message in ages). Also, lwanmtr has a VW logo in Free Stuff, but I went to his site and didn't find the Golf 3-door it's supposed to be for. What kind of navigation graphics, buttons or image-map? Are you going to give us a link to the site when it's done?

I hear ya'. I'm helping with a VW club website but they're commited to a logo that was done in pen and ink 15 years ago, and they don't want to change it because it's printed on all the club jackets, etc. http://geocities.com/volkswagenclub FWIW (think it's bad now? You should have seen it before)Maybe you could farm the work out to Guillaume d'Hubert at http://www.virtualbeetlemuseum.com. There's a site worth checking out: type I, II & III, Ghias, !81s, and look for the Buetler Bus conversion (http://www.virtuALBEETLEMUSEUM.COM/beutler01.htm) and the virtual restoration of a Hebmuller convertible! (http://www.virtualbeetlemuseum.com/merci.htm )
That New Beetle has the cool windshield wiper cover, too bad it doesn't have the Turbo wheels.
