Hi, I think it's better if you posted the entire series in a single thread rather than opening a thread for every part of the series. We also have the tutorials section where you can post the entire series for everyone to see, and not just those that visit the animation forum.
Thanks :)

Attached Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspect_ratio_(image)
This link explains all the different aspect ratios, and corresponding dimensions (in pixels). I hope this helps.nemirc

Thread: Question for all you animators that use Poser | Forum: Animation
Are you using some sort of raytracing in Poser? Flickering usually only occurs when you have that sort of thing, because standard depth maps (or no shadows at all) produce no flickering

Off the top of my head I can't think of any tool that does that right now. Some compositing applications have retimer tools that can do this, but I don't know how they work since I've never used them. I mean "pro" compositing appls like the defunct Shake, Nuke or similar. Premiere Pro has a time remapping tool, and so does AfterFX, but I've never tried to slow down something that much, so I don't know if the result is any good (and I don't have the time to do it right now, since I'm in the middle of a project, and I can't promise I'll do it over the weekend either).

Thread: Animation from Vue, very SyFy looking | Forum: Animation
Very cool animation. I liked the feel it got from the camera shake.

I don't know about Daz Studio but in Poser, when you have an animation, you simply check the "animation" box and set a range when saving a pose.

Thread: Amman Performing Art Centre | Forum: Animation
I have to say that's a weird design for a building, but I liked the animation a lot. Also I loved the timelapse on the first half of the video.

Thread: iPi Desktop Motion Capture Standard Edition | Forum: Animation
I am curious about it as well, but I don't have the cameras to try it out. AFAIK you need webcams but mine doesn't work with Windows Vista/7, and I'm still missing the time to try it out (they say setting it up is a pain so I'd need enough free time to do it.

Thread: 3D Science Zygote Male Model - Rigging | Forum: Animation
Those models aren't exactly rigging friendly. Sometimes I will just rig a lower polygon count model and then use a wrap deformer to drive the high resolution mesh. It's somewhat of an old trick but works perfectly.

Thread: Basic animation questions??? | Forum: Animation
Hi there, when I said standard formats I was more thinking of frame formats, like NTSC, 640x480, 720p or 1080p. I think I should have been more clear.
As staigermanus said, compression helps a lot, and actually using .mp4 is us my first option when it comes to deploying video.

Thread: Basic animation questions??? | Forum: Animation
Well standard animations format applies. Considering it's for web deployment maybe you should go no larger than 720p since many people still use slow connections.
I'm the one that approves them, BTW, and sorry for not checking them out already. Job is killing me :(
I'll do it tomorrow, I promise!

Thread: FLV | Forum: Animation
If you plan to share animations on the Video Center, right now it's meant for Mods and Admins to showcase media that is sent to us, mostly for Frontpage coverage.
The standard animation gallery can be found on a link above. You host your animations anywhere you want (Youtube or Vimeo are good options) and then hotlink them from the animation gallery.
