32 bit version is working fine, however... wondering if I should just not worry about using the 64 bit version.  How much performance will I lose?

Subsequent installs also haven't asked me for my serial number which makes me think the uninstall hasn't completely removed everything from the HD...

I am quite infuriated by this. 

When I originally installed PP2012 on my new machine, I had unchecked 32 bit content.  Thinking this was the problem and that it might contain the information I need, I uninstalled and reinstalled PP2012 with this checked.

 I didn't change any install paths, but my next step will be to install onto a separate drive...

PP2012 still doesn't work on my new machine after installing several C++ runtimes and reinstalling.  I'm finding Windows 8 very frustrating.

Wow... thanks for all the responses.  Even with the variety of perspectives, this gave me the answer I was looking for.  I think I'm going with the not worth the time angle.  It seems like it really isn't worth the time..

I appreciate everyone's responses because you just saved me a mountain of time and trouble worrying about how to implement Genesis in Poser Pro 2012.

Ah if only I could get used to working with DS4...

... and we appreciate this.  Maybe if DAZ had done a simultaneous Genesis release with Poser and DAZ Studio I wouldn't have minded what they did so much.  Since it's DAZ studio only, I can't use it because DAZ studio is so counter intuitive to how I work.  As it stands now, I feel totally abandoned by DAZ after being a loyal customer for years.

I appreciate the update as well.  My art wouldn't be where it's at today without content creators like you guys...

Yeah I've heard the morphing tool is a lot better.  Need to find some tutorials and start using it.

I agree with this completely.  I feel like Genesis is a bit of a scam and also feel completely abandoned by DAZ because I'm a Poser user.  I know that's beating a dead horse, but I've spent thousands of dollars at DAZ on content over the past seven or eight years, and now I feel like they've slammed a door in my face.

GND is very stylized and is perfect for those kinds of renders.  Antonia is very down to earth and perfect for the kinds of renders that need a more subdued look.  I would love to see better custom morphs for both because the only thing they really lack is V4's ability to create radically different looking faces.  Once they get that kind of flexibility, they will see a lot of use in my Runtime...

This is awesome.  I can't wait to see what gets released.  Great tip on using weight mapping to conform things.
