First of all, sorry for being AWOL. I posted about it and Knyghtmare was kind enough to inquire within. That was nice, Knyghtmare. I once saved a life by just checking up on an old friend. I wasn't that far gone but it was to know I was missed. rokket, thanks for asking about me. That kind of stuff really matters. At least it does to me.
rokket that mesh is something special. Your Jessica Cruz should be used in the movies. Nicely done. Plus your reimagined Wonder Woman is very classy. My detractors call me a sexist but I'm not the one who set the standard by putting a woman in a corset and dominatrix boots. (I just surpassed it. Not skimpy enough. I'm still waiting for the Sexy Generalettes Bundle) Your Wonder Woman is more adorable but that outfit is more functional. It works better today as much as earlier versions did in the seventies when they replaced her outfit to fit with the liberated women of the times.
Anyway, I hope you guys are doing fine!
Thread: To Ryzen or not to Ryzen? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
W10, Ryzen 5 3600, 16Gb, Radeon 580 8GB, PP11, 11.2.307, ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING Motherboard gave me no problems with right out of the box. Corsair Case with RGB lighting. 1 Terabyte SSD as my C: Drive is reasonable and the same exact size as my old drive. That meant cloning it was a breeze. but I kept my old seagate external drive. 4 Terabytes and it's time to upgrade that as well. After 5 years I get antsy when it comes to old fashioned platter hard drives. Stock fan as I'm not overclocking yet. I can still upgrade my CPU to Ryzen 7 and upgrade my video card as well. A motherboard and graphics card made for gaming won't choke on Poser. I do not play games. The biggest difference is that I can go deeper with my settings.
No doubt about it. I'm not a spring chicken. After I gathered the parts, I asked how much for THEM to assemble it as it had been years since I put a computer together. After I choked on the price they quoted, I did it myself. Looks pretty sweet. When I was returning the after market cooling fan, the guy who rang up my goods asked if I got it working. He was surprised to learn that I did and after intense interrogation confessed that he hadn't got everything to work in his own system. My message is don't be afraid to take the plunge. Computing hasn't changed that much. Just faster, better and cheaper.

Oh that Cityscape is all that I thought it was. I went for Limo's that were so gorgeous but it turned out they were not optimized for Poser. Luckily for me, Kanaa is as kind as he is talented. As soon as he optimizes for Poser, I'm going to break my piggy bank again. That meant that I missed the Cityscape at 50 percent off.
As for the rest, Nice posts! I'd say more and hopefully I will but I'm going for surgery in about 3 hours and I had dream last night. That dream was me being united in great joy with the love of my life who passed almost 2 years ago. My dreams often tell the future. If only they would tell me who will win the Super Bowl this year. (I predicted the Ravens will win the Super Bowl)
Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone and why I've been gone.
Eddie (rokket) if I really don't make it...you get my runtimes. Over a terabyte. Each.
HartyBart, I forgive you for calling me a swine in my own thread. Eclark, I'd like one more epic battle that forces the mods to delete posts and issue warnings to both of us again. Ha!
Sam Therapy...don't get cocky. Have a Niknak. (Great Post Retro and Ghost)
Say a Prayer...wish me luck...sacrifice a goat...whatever works for you, Y'all.

Thank you for your help, Brit! The matter has been resolved to my satisfaction. I found Kanaa to be kind and gracious. Kanaa is the type of content creator that I would find it a joy to help support.
Thread: Refund Wanted | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Thank you for your quick reply. A sitemail to Kanaa has been sent.
Question. Does a store credit work the same way?

Dude looks menacing enough. He has a Grave Robber (The wrestler) feel to him. I can almost feel his very outfit coming to life to snare his opponents for a well deserved thrashing. Nice set by the way. Don't containers come in handy as your building a scene?
Not far off the mark, as that is not an outfit, at least in the context of the store. That's him. And yes, containers make for great scene fillers lol
Do you, by chance, mean The Undertaker?
That's him? Makes him more scary. And yes The Undertaker is exactly who I meant. Dude was freakin' scary enough but he used to drag around a coffin with him for his victims. Something that has been copied in Anime and Kung Fu films. I don't really know who did it first but he did it best. You know, I can only imagine his opponents fear when they realize (or find out the hard way) that isn't his outfit.

Thread: How do I get rid of the message missing file when I load some files? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
@MikeMoss Can you tell us what products you are using in the scene or perhaps what exactly is missing if you cancel the search by clicking NO and letting everything else load. I did a search for cylTex.obj thinking it might be the DAZ cyclorama but nothing came up. Perhaps someone else has the same products as you.
Otherwise I use Glitterati's method number 2. Have it reference a renamed null obj, make it invisible and then move on. Works for textures as well.

Just so you know. You're not alone I complained about this months ago. I received some not so good ideas about what to do but in the end I believe the Poser Guru, Structure provided a work around. You should be able to find it at Sharecg as well. Bitdefender just blocked my access to the file for some weird reason. One of the other guru's actually hacked the UI so it would show up there as it was supposed to do.
Thread: Linux anyone? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
@12rounds and blackbonner
A flame war is the last thing on my mind. I was being cute when I said the rebellious. Even if I weren't poking fun, I like rebellious. I envy Mac users for that very reason. I admire individualists for my own Ayn Randian reasons. I'm also thinking that Linux doesn't have to worry about virus's and Malware and ransomware and any other nasty type of ware designed to hurt people for no other reason than they can.
Flame wars are started because people get personal and directly or indirectly insult someone. In my own Comic Fun thread, I was flamed. It can feel awful and I want no part of it. What I do want is fresh knowledge. One answer given to my query is using a different operating system is FUN. That's reason enough. Windows keeps security to ridiculous levels that even an admin can find himself unable copy a file or change a file name that has no part of the OS. That is silly. That would be another reason to use Linux. If anyone here feels slighted because of my rebellious remark, I apologize. It was meant as a compliment.
Has no one read, "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress?" Has no one listened to Pink Floyd's, "A Brick in the Wall"? I have a feeling some or all you have.
I'll just lurk if you don't mind. Enjoy the bump. I find this thread to be very interesting.

Big Brother will not be happy with this rebellious behavior. I gave up trying to fight the wind a long time ago. Why even use Linux when every computer ships with Windows 10 and any computer with Windows 7 still can upgrade freely to Windows 10. I'm not some Windows guru. I used to be quite the rebel with my Timex Sinclair until the dang thing caught fire.
So what are your advantages?

The new and improved cover for Issue 10. Gotta say, I love the new elements!
Heck Yeah! The extra information really works. You have a bad/good guy that creates mystery in the corner. You get the rebel-I'm not fitting in a box with the UNAPPROVED Label and the title now tilts toward the genre you're working in. Without knowing what the story was about, I was thinking elves and perhaps something not so dark. The entire cover looks more traditional but professional. Pretty good! It just struck me that it's information and that puts our cortex to work. I mean, now I HAVE to know what is an Everstar (Original name. That is not easy) Nicely done!
