What type of game are we looking at? What type of story do you want to have. I'm already working in a computer game using Bryce and a product called coldstone, but I will help where I can. :)

I have a volumetric snow texture I could email you. Unfortunately I use most of the ready made textures with Bryce. I hope they get the bugger. If you still need the 100 dollars, let me know and I will try and wire it to you. Pedrith :)

That totally sucks. I hope they get the little rotter that made off with your stuff. If you have a paypal account and are in desperate need of some cash, I am willing to wire you $100 or Fed ex it to you. I wish I could give you more, but i'm on a really tight budget. Pedrith

Thread: Just so we're clear on a couple of things -petition language ignoring mac users | Forum: Bryce
I own a mac and I signed the petition. I figure that if any new version of Bryce gets released all the better. If it is a windows version, well fine. All the mac users have to do is purchase virtual pc and bang it will work. Good work on the petition Drac! Pedrith :p

Thread: Bryce 2 : How different is it from the most current version? | Forum: Bryce
Hi there. I started out with Bryce 2 when i was in grade 12 (I'm 25 now). Basically Bryce 2 can ONLY do the stop motion one frame at a time (a la render one frame, move the camera render the next frame and so on--with the frames being assebled in quicktime later) Also Bryce 2 does not have a sky lab, or at the very least it is not a very advanced one. You would have to make do with the sky presets (which are not bad- I used them all the time) The DTE (deep terrain editor is not to advanced--if ther e is one--I can't remember) There is no tree lab, nor metaball support, but that does not mean you can not do really cool things. If your mail box is large enough i can email you a video I made through stop motion (for history class--I toook over 80 hours of rendering--15.6 mb) I know there is other things i should be telling you, but I can't think of them, right now. If I remember more I will post it later. Pedrith :)
Thread: 4 of My Bryce Animations in my gallery | Forum: Bryce
Cool. I have an animation that I made that I would like to upload. Is there a size limit? The animation has a running time of about 2 min. :)

I agree with what Drac posted and with some of the other members post too. While I have been a member for only a little while and have not posted very many messages to the board, I am glad that I can post my concerns, comments and if I actually managed to finish a piece of artwork I will post that also. I have read many of the posts and check the site daily and in this time I have come to the conclusion that the Bryce community here is open and receptive. Sure I understand that somepeople need to rant to blow off steam from time to time, and it is understandable that arguments will errupt, but, the really good thing i have seen is that nobody carries a grudge. When the arguement is over the community moves on. Just my two cents. :)
