Thread: Hair Morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
[Here you have 2 options, the first will be in step 2A and the second in step 2B.]
2A. [Only if hair is a hair prop] Select the hair prop and go to the properties tab. Click on "Load Morph Target" and browse for the morphs obj you just exported. Now name it and click okay, if all went well it should be there. Now just save the hair in the Props folder [not the Hair folder if you are going to use it in DAZ]. It should work now as long as you remember to put the original geometry in the right place and all that.
2B. [Only if hair is a figure] Download Pozers Little Helper from http://home.online.no/~kjellil/Index-AllStuff.htm... once that is there you can use the tutorial to set up a project file. Now another good program to download is Morph Manager, from http://www.morphography.uk.vu/utilities.html {scroll down to MorphManager}. Use morph manager to add new channels, and then the hard part is using CR2Editor {also from morphography} to change the names from IC_01 to PBMCC_01. You have to do this if you're using PLH.
Anyways once that part is done all you have to do is load the original hair geometry (ex: egghair1.obj) and then load the morph (ex: egghair_wind1.obj) and then click on the generate morph tab and change the settings then just hit Generate! After that the "Setup Injection Files" will appear, now the settings that you made while making the project files will appear and you can save the deltas, visibility files and the pose file. [note: the deltas and visibility files work better while in the same folder.]
Okay now it should work unless you changed the vertices or renamed the groups... or forgot to change the channel names like I said before.
I know this is a lot, which is why I suggest you try just saving the hair as a prop and all that first... maybe someone else has a better solution, who knows...
Hope this helps! :D

Hello... this is actually an easy tutorial to find, it's the first video tutorial on here... it's by biscuit and it explains how to make hair morphs (wind, etc) with Poser magnets... It is very helpful...

Also if you're willing to pay for something that may otherwise take a while to accomplish, you can buy this really cool product called TotalHairCntrl... it's amazing! Only 9 dollars too... :D

Hope this helps! :D

Um, okay I tried it, but I'm confused, nothing happens when I do that... I've never been able to get Ray-Tracing to work for me? but thanks anyway :)
Thread: Anyone know where I can get this shell? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, I have no idea where that one came from, it's a very nice shell.... but I do know where you can get a shell similar to that... here's the link:
http://www.most-digital-creations.com/free_poser_poses_textures_morphs_props_34.htm
Just scroll down and it should be the 3rd or 4th freebie on that page.... AdamThwaits is a great vendor so I usually get stuff from him.
Hope this helps, sorry I couldn't find the shell you wanted. :D
Thread: Skin Texture Resources? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmm, okay well let's see, I would feel odd not adding eyes to the pack, because for most Poser peeps out there, eyes are a pain, lol... although I'm not so sure if I should add eyes, because my eyes are good, but not as good as that Antonia one, lol.. so I could include eyes and if you like them you can use them, but if you don't like them then just use a different pair ;)...
And for the hair, I recently made some hair that looked great, but again, not as good as the the pic you showed of dynamic hair... I'm getting there, but not quite yet, lol... But I'm inspired by that picture, so I'm gonna start working on hair projects too, :D... I will finish the resource project first however. I will keep ya updated... and feel free to message me if you have more requests or so on... :D Peace
Thread: Skin Texture Resources? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey madno2... I'm working on your request, and don't worry it will be free :)
It's textures (3000x3000 each), Layer 1 is the skin (no freckles, or anything just the skin detail that is default for most skin tones)... Layer's 2-7 (or maybe more, don't know yet) have other details (non-baked) like nipples, pub-hair, freckles, zits, etc... And then the last couple layers will be a plain b/w bump layer with (non-baked) details for it. Also a spec map with (non-baked) details too. It may take a day or two to finish though... I'm also gonna add some makeup options and tattoo options...
Another thing, I'm assuming you want the eyes too? Please let me know so I can paint some eyes for ya, and also let me know of your preferences for the eyes, thanks!

VICTORIA 4.2:
http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/victoria-4-2?item=4787&spmeta=rl&_m=d
and
MICHAEL 4:
http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/michael-4-morphs?item=7878&_m=d
These are the morph packs for the Mil 4 figures (Victoria 4 and Michael 4, available free from DAZ [The figures are free, not the morph packs)... These morphs help make character creation easier (for instance if you don't have a modeler, you can just dial some channels and save them as morphs).
Hope this helps :D
Thread: Hey sorry to bother y'all again, but I'm riggin boots... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you! It worked perfectly! Now all i have to do is make morphs for the platforms and some textures too, hehe... and then I'm done (with the boots anyway). Thanks for ur help!
Thread: pz2 files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey I know PhilC answered already (and I KNOW Phil's smarter than me) but also some pz2 files require V4 and M4 Morphs ++ (some other models do too) and the morphs won't load correctly without it... Also another thing is that after you have the model (V4 or M4) loaded, you go into the pose library and double click on the morph (pz2), if the morph does not require Morphs ++ than it should load fine, but if it does require the Morph ++ pack than you should make sure you inject those first, which the default directly for those is usually: (Poser= /e frontier/Runtime/Libraries/Pose/DAZ Victoria 4 (or DAZ Michael 4)/ Morphs Injections/... (then double click on the morph injection ++ pz2), (DAZ= "whichever directory you pointed DAZ to".../Content/Runtime/Libraries/Pose/DAZ Victoria 4 (or DAZ Michael 4)/ Morphs Injections/... )...
I hope you find this helpful... It was sooo hard for me when I first started but on the bright side, it's been about 8 months since I first started DAZ and Poser and now I'm making my own content (working on getting a product in the marketplace right now, lol)... so you will be a pro before ya know it, hehe... Good luck!
Thread: Hey sorry to bother y'all again, but I'm riggin boots... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey okay so I fixed the uv problem by simply making a simpler model (it now only has "lShin, lFoot, rShin, rFoot; with ghost toes and ghost thighs... so it still detects when V4 bends her toes and thighs but I can easily make it so she doesn't bend the toes...).
Now I have a kind of stupid question, how can I make a pz2 pose file that would make V4's feet (foot and toe) invisible...? Thanks ahead of time...

Thread: Problem making morphs for my clothes in Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well here's a preview of the complete model. :D No textures yet, I just did a quick material session and made a funky leather type texture for it, lol.

And the final settings just got crazier (like I said b4 I wasn't able to fix the pregnant morph, but it does look more like natural stretch wrinkles than the crazy stuff that it was doing before), the new settings are:
Max Samples 100
Sym Samples 0
Distance Weight 1
Falloff Start 0.05
Falloff End 0.6
So thanks pjz99 so much for helping! :D
