I rename all files, place them by catagory into their appropriate sub-dir and save the thumbnail also by the same name. Makes it super easy to find exactly what I need.

PoserWorld definitly has it figured out right... why just put out an outfit for V2 or V3 when it's not that difficult to put out a version for both in one package. That way you don't limit your potential market and can make everyone happy.

ok, checked again... it's not creating new OBJ files for every character I create... but it is doing new OBJ files for characters that I've done things to such as regrouping the textures. If I switch the cr2 back to the origional obj file then the regrouping is gone

every time I've created a character and saved it to the library in Poser 5 it's created a new OBJ file that it uses just for that character in the library with the cr2. I was under the impression it was doing that to stop crosstalk between characters.

I don't see why any merchant would ever release a texture for just V2 or V3 again. With this utility making it so easy to convert, as a buyer I'd now fully expect to get textures for both in any package I'd buy.

Daz is going out of their way to kill off CL as quickly as possible. First they create as much of a disturbance as they can with the EULA (which wasn't half the problem that they made it out to be). Then they won't support P5, now they're releasing Studio's base for free knowing full well that CL can't survive that. In a month or two when CL goes belly up, then Daz will begin announcing how much each module will actually cost. Count on getting Sudio with everything P5 can do for $500+ easily sice they won't have any competition.

if they actually ask you if they can use it after they download it, say "sure, right after you send us a check for it" who knows, if they're bothering to ask you for permission they might just do it.

looks great! Would be cool if you'd consider possibly having different "hand" attachments that could do different things such as claws, tentacles, blades etc... to go along with the blaster.
