**plus you can create self extracting archives so the user doesn't need the program.**And if the user has a Mac?
I don't know if StuffIt has these features.
Stuffit may create self-extracting archives for Mac or for Windows. But if both Mac and Windows users might be receiving them, polite Mac users do not use that feature... Actually, the free decoder will uncompress these even if they are in self-extracting form for the wrong platform.
Does WinACE or WinRAR have Mac versions?

Also, in Poser, geometries refers to a certain folder in the Runtime folder, where Poser looks for the OBJ files it uses.

Hmmm... If I did a painting, but didn't make the paint or the canvas myself, is it "my" art?

HFS came out in 1986 when the 800K floppy disk came out (never mind 10meg hard disks): it was the first time you could really have "folders". HFS="hierarchical file system"

I tried it on a few of the original Poser figures, and they have the same behavior, so I guess it is not a fault with the Cring... A pose that works with a figure does not usually work with a re-sized version of the same figure. But then I guess I don't understand why the "thigh length" is included in the PZ2 file... Is that just an unused feature?

Here is another small problem with the Cring models... when you first load the cring male, his feet are underground. No big deal, that can be fixed with "Drop to Floor". But here is the thing... When I take the walk motion (made with the cring male), save it in the pose library, then apply it to the cring female, she comes out walking up in the air. I think this is related to the other problem. This can also be easily fixed. But shouldn't it be unnecessary? (Since the famale is just a 90% size male.)
