I believe Egypt hair is an hr.2 Go Display>Element style>Texture Shaded (From the top menu) Just make sure you have the hair selected when you do it. Does it render ok? JT
Thread: Any free textured sci-fi weapons around? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Check out vanishingpoint.biz. Lots of weapons in the free section from Star Wars, Aliens, Star Trek etc. (And thanks for the Battle Bonanza-best pose set I've ever bought!)
Thread: Help with using BillyT V3 bodysuite | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I used to have the first version of the bodysuit, but I rarely used it becuase the butt on it was huge. While we're on the subject, does the new version have a huge butt too? (I own almost everything else from Billy T, awesome designer)

"no gells attached in the matroom" - I'm not following you... (I'm still pretty new at this) I probably should've mentioned that I'm using P6's "Country" light set with "Raytrace" shadows checked for each light.

Thread: The One Chest Magnet I Can't Find | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've been looking for the same thing myself! I know exactly what you're talking about. I have magnet sets from The Wishmaster and Wyrmmaster. They work to an extent, but like you said, the mags wrap the clothing "around" the breasts instead of over them. I've tried adding moprhs with The Tailor 1.5, but it's only really good for subtle adjustments. I haven't tried "Natural Breast Movement" from Wishmaster. It's available here in the Marketplace. IMHO, he makes the best breast mags on the market, easy to apply and simple to adjust. Maybe shoot him an email and see if he's interested in making a mag set that will help us out? Let me know what you find, I'd like to stay abreast of this one :)

Hell, if somebody treated me like that I'd go right home and sign him up for a few hundred porn mailing lists!
Thread: Clothing and cybernetic parts for Poser figures- Production process | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, Firstly, if you want to export your Poser figure to Max with hair, dynamic clothing, bones, IK, etc., you'll need to pick up a pretty pricey plugin. Bodystudio is one I belive, it's around $200 US. Otherwise, the OBJ2Max plugin will at least get your geometry into Max. It's free. There are a lot of ways to accomplish what you're after, here's the Cliff's Notes on one way: Only export what you need from your Poser figure to Max. When you choose Export>Wavefront .obj, Poser will give you a tree of what to export. Just check what you'll need. Like right forearm, right hand, rh fingers if you want to model a cybernetic arm. This gives you a perfect reference and often times its easiest to just "sculpt" your new figure out of the existing poser figure. Just make sure you leave a "weld point." When you have what you want, you can then bring it back to poser and start rigging away. Obviously there's more to it, but that's the basics of the method that works for me. Have patience and keep practicing!
Thread: Question Reducing Texture Size | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmmmm... Sure you can shrink your textures down, but obviously you'll be sacrificing some quality. Sometimes re-saving your textures with a lower quality setting is better than shrinking the actual pixel size. Also, if Vue supports them, make sure your textures are JPEGS (72 DPI). If you have some basic texturing skills, I'd recommend using tilable textures where you can and if you're really feeling frugal, skip the textures altogether on objects that will be in the distance. Just use simple material settings to bring everything to life. (Maybe the sailors?) Hope this helps! Oh yeah, I'm not aware of any legal/ethical issues. Merchants really need to start taking it easy with their texture sizes anyway.
