Nice ocean floor! Looks very like underwater sand, and the lighting's great, too. I don't know if I care for the color or surface of the water, but have no suggestions for improving them so I should shut up. :P It seems a bit crowded in the dolphin/whale thingy area. Maybe you could move it back or angle it or alter the pose? Looks like there's some interesting structure behind it, but the creature blocks it all out. Just my shooting my mouth off. Great work for a new user!

I think it's a great little church! Not every town could afford a huge cathedral, after all, and not every nobleman felt it necessary to pave his way into heaven by buying off God with a monstrous monument funded by ill-gotten wealth. ;) I think a natural stonewall texture would look more authentic than the block texture you have on now, and maube a shingled or coppery texture for the roof. Otherwise, it looks terrific to me.

I don't think you stink at underwater scenes--nice haze effect, it really gives an underwater feel! And the green gives it a different look form the usual blue or aqua. My only criticisms would be: i think the ocean floor would look better with some bumpier texture and I think the shark (if you have a program to pose it with) would be twisting around a bit if a big squid was grabbing it. (I know I would! :P) Cool picture, overall!

I've tried that, I find nothing but Animation Stand (grr) and GIF-making programs. Thanks, though. You'd think it wouldn't be all that complicated a program to make (says the non-programmer. :P)

Thanks, found it! :) Hmmm, the price is $5,300 for the basic studio bundle....ouch! :P I hope the demo version is fairly functional...

Yeah, put 'em in Free Stuff--way cool! :P I don't know what to use it on either, but if it's truly cool, who cares? As for the transparent ones, I think they look like they could be used to make some interesting foliage effects.

Thanks! Well, faerie house, gnome castle, squirrel fort, smurf condo--whatever. :P Gotta punch some windows in that thing, do textures, and a few other details yet.

Well, I wouldn't go copying a big company's expensive website design. It would probably be too complicated to use, anyway. But just for simple pages, I'm sure nobody would resent your taking their code and replacing the pictures and text with your own. HTML is really very basic, as long as you don't get into tables, frames, etc. Basic HTML just sets your page layout, like where to have paragraphs, where to put the pictures and links, whether to center something....it's just text formatting commands. There shouldn't be much trouble in "borrowing" a framework. Also, looking at someone else's HTML and comparing it with the finished page is a help in learning how to use it yourself. You're welcome to use any of my pages, if you want! :PThread: MAC guys, help with website please... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It isn't that hard to make a simple website in HTML. If GoLive seems too complicated, go to your library and get "Creating Web Pages for Dummies." That's how I learned. The included CD has some programs that could help you get started, too. A really easy one (though it seems to be abandoned now) is HTML Pro.

Actually, once you've created the new picture textures and imported them into Bryce, you can export them as .mat files. If you click on the little triangle next to EDIT, the materials palate opens. Go to the section called "User" and you will see across the bottom "Add Delete Import Export." Once you've created a texture, use "Add" to add it to the User palate. Then click on it and hit "Export" to create a .mat file from it. "Import" lets you add other .mat files, such as downloaded ones.
