i so feel for you...i have been through somewhat the same spot as you have. created a very elaborate scene that took me days to complete using V4 only to come back to a blank pz3. although i did find a solution via the forums, having to re-create the same elaborate scene is not something i would want to do over again. 

as for the updates, i don't think i have downloaded any in a while. i don't think i will be rushing to it any time soon either. things are working perfectly so far and when things comes awry, i will consider the updates.

you know, whenever someone asks to use my renders in tubes or personal websites i always say yes but in this case, seeing as they have taken off my signature and put on theirs is too much for me to just shrug off. if they wish to download any of my images they can go to the two galleries i have authorized to house my work mainly renderosity and deviantART and i demand they ask permission first before deciding to post any of my work. 

fatman, again many thanks for your help on this. i doubt we'll get this far had it been left for us non-russian speakers to sift through the website. i appreciate all your help.

yeah...what makes it harder is not being able to decipher the language too - thanks and kudos to drifterlee for that - you're doing quite a tremendous job hon. 

aralt hon...things may be bigger than they seem to be but really, the only reason it is is because nobody wants to fight it. i tend to fight every single thing that pops up (even if they only have one of my renders in their websites). i also keep a list of those who asked me for permission and have their websites written down so if someone does see my work and informed me about it, i can rest their suspicions by looking through my list. i can't just throw my hands up in the air after i discovered some in the past actually made money off my work. so yeah i am mad about all these, not just for me but for all of us.

permission is still needed from the people who created the artwork in question - to me whether or not they are selling it is beside the point (another issue altogether). what is so damn hard about asking for permission? i have 2 online galleries i post my work at and a few other websites that have an authority to do so. all of them has given proper credit and those who have cropped my render have the power to do so since they paid for it.  it really boils down to the principle of it all - give us the courtesy to have a choice whether or not we wanted other websites to house our work or not. to me it is one way of keeping track of them.

plenty of places to gather inspiration from - books, movies, television...even art sites can spark up some of that creative juices. however there are times when the muse is just plain stubborn and for this i usually cure it with a nice R&R. i find taking a break rejuvenates the mind and gets you back in track.

having your work posted in other websites without asking for permission and having a friend tell you about it is one thing but having them take off your signature and smack theirs on is just too infuriating for me. thanks aralt for the heads up, i don't know if i have any time to battle this one at the moment but i sure hope with everyone banding together on this, we would have things remedied. any ideas as to who to contact on this?

i've just been at the forums over at daz....my, my...what's next? limit the morphing capacity of each figure so they can't be dialed  too "thin"?

are you saying that that was the reason why it was pulled? because that is just about the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard of.

living in "everfrost" north dakota, it ain't a picnic either. this year, when the temperature drops down to zero i could happily stand outside and bask in the heat lol. been-22 to -44 for the longest time that anything above that i consider warm. can't wait for spring!

Well, what I did was turn off external morphs whenever I use V4 and turn it back on again when I go back to V3. It seems to work alright whenever external morph is turned off for V4 and the pz3 files don't come up blank anymore. Give it a try hon  =)

YES!!! thank you very much once again guys...turning off external morphs did work! Now, to prevent Vue from crashing on me while in the middle of the set up, lol. Hugs all around!

Thanks very much everyone! I will probably wait a few days to get my frustration level down after yesterday, lol. I had a scene with V4 and 10 thousand snakes...okay, that might be exhagerating a bit but it felt that way since snakes are a pain to pose. Imagine my surprise when it would not open in vue and I couldn't find the pz3....cries. Anyhoo, will look into it in a couple days...thank you everyone, you've all been a great help =)
