Saw it yesterday. There are a few technical problems but overall its worth seeing on the big screen if you're into 3d, but the story has big problems. It is not science fiction; it is metaphysical fiction with elements of science fiction. As one person said when I left the theater: "Great graphics, too much plot and no exposition." As for the technical complaints, I think that the movie is still one of the most ambitious projets yet and will serve as a major stepping stone to better future projects.
Thread: Thank you Thorne for the Free Faerie! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have to say that nobody does fairies (or women) like Thorne. Unfortunately, like procchi, I lost several of the oldest ones in a HD crash (I have since learned that regular backups are good for soul). Is there any chance that Thorne might offer a cd collection of older characters? I bet it would do well and I know it would make a lot of people very happy.

Hey Poserpro, I had the same problem. Here's my solution. When you go to the D3D homepage, hit the reload button on your browser. You may have to do this on each page that you go to. For reasons of speed, some browsers save the old versions of webpages and what you are seeing is the same old page over and over and not the new one. Hope this helps.

Sorry to see you go, friend. I had been planning to download quite a bit from your site but always thought there would be a tomorrow. Oh well, if you decide to go the cd route, let us all know. I, personally would consider it good investment. Thanks and good luck!

Dear V, Let me first express my concern and hope for Zane. Hope is the operative word here. I have been a teacher specializing in children and young adults with special needs for almost a decade now and I have seen hope and prayer accomplish some amazing things. The website below may be helpful to you and if not, it can probably point you in a positive direction. I teach in Texas and resources vary from state to state, but please contact me if you have any questions or think I can help in any way. PS - The Phenobarbytol may only be a temporary necessity. Prayers are with you.Thread: Poser Morph Targets in Carrara Tutorial? | Forum: Carrara

Thanks Bloodsong, I went ahead and ordered the program on the strength of the demo, so I guess I will find out the answers to these and many other questions in the (hopefully) near future. I look forward to being a part of this forum!

Tried this out last night in Carrara. I made a few mistakes but I think it will look great when I get the hang of it. Thanks for the great tutorial!

Thanks AzChip, I was extremely impressed with your explosion. Hiroshi's are great, but I think your technique will fit in much better with what I'm planning. Any help will put me in your debt.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I hope to have a website up and running in a month or so. I'll try and post the results there. If I'm successful, I'll also try to post a tutorial.
