His browser probably has a password manager / and or a forms filler-in manager.
I use Firefox to auto-enter my rendo password.
IE7 and Opera also have this capability.

What a mystery!!
Are you running it on Windows XP?
If so, go into Control Panel, and check in "Regional / Language" options - maybe French is selected somewhere.
I had to change my language in there once to display dates properly
in Office the Australian way!!

To save you the hassle of searching extensions,
you can go directly to the following addresses:
NoScript https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/722/
AdblockPlus https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1865/

I just reckon a difference of only a "space character" is just one confusion too far.
It can be hard to see a space character on a web page, when not using a fixed font.

I run Firefox 2.0 and used to run 1.5+with Java disabled (because I dislike Java), altho' javascript is enabled.
I've had no crashes with Renderosity since about 1.5.0.4.
Maybe try disabling Java temporarily, to see if this is the issue.
I also use the extensions Noscript and AdBlock Plus which can be used to block
scripts on a site by site basis if necessary.

Yes. There are some issues for PCs with non-standard set-ups.
I had some problems with IE7-RC1, so I made sure of a few things before installing.
IE7 installed smoothly last night!!
MY RECOMMENDATIONS for things to do before you install IE7.
(a) Set a Restore Point, just in case.
(b) Make sure you current version of IE is the default browser [ ESSENTIAL ]
(c) Disable all firewalls and AV while installing.
(d) When asked by IE7 to check for latest updates, SAY NO.
(e) If you have changed IE Security Zone defaults, put both http://runonce.msn.com &
http://*.microsoft.com in the Trusted Zone.
(f) You need to be connected to the Internet during the installation.
INSTALLATION FEATURES AND SIDE EFFECTS.
(A) PC reboots twice during installation.
(B) QUICK LAUNCH Toolbar in task bar at the bottom of the screen was turned off by installation - Right click the toolbar, select Toolbasr / Quick launch to turn it back on.
(C) WithOut Warning, An RSS FEED (msnews.microsoft.com) was installed in my Email program(ThunderBird).
CONFIGURATION ISSUES
(a) The menu bar does not appear by default. If you want it back, click the cog/wheel and select 'MenuBar' from the drop down menu.
(b) You can now change you default search engine in IE. In the top right there is a magnifying glass icon. Left Click the arrow next to it, and choose 'FindMoreProviders', if you want.
(c) Play with TAB BROWSING settings. click the Tools button / Internet Options / General tab, and then, in the Tabs section, click Settings.

Have a look in IE7 atTools/InternetOptions/General , then click 'BrowsingHistory' Settings button. Look at 'Check for newer versions of stored pages'. Mine is set to AUTOMATIC.

Yeah IE7 is faster then IE6, but I find Firefox even better.
However, there was a registry hack for IE6 that raised the maximum simultaneous downloads from two to whatever you like - but it doesn't work for IE7.
Also, I have always found Firefox faster to render at Renderosity. With the extension fasterFox 1.0.3, i can have lots of simultaneous downloads of pics from the Galleries, just like IE6.

Thread: Gallery Q...may have been asked already but??? | Forum: Community Center
In "Gallery Options" you can select "When browsing, open images in a new window" - it is only half as frustrating closing the new window, as clicking the back button.
Otherwise, with both the new version of IE (IE 7 beta 3) and Firefox, I take advantage of tabbed browsing - right click on image and choose 'Open window in new tab'.

'm no guru, but have some guesses maybe worth trying:
(a) Is there a firefox add-in for OE still installed?
(b) Has IE been reset as the default Browser? It wont hurt
to redo it manually.
(c) Is the FILE ASSOCIALTIONwith htm files reset to IE?
[ find any htm file on C:, right click, slsect "choose program", pick IE form list,
and finally check the box called "always use this program..."

Now when a link sends me between the subdomains market.renderosity.com &
excalibur.renderosity.com & www.renderosity.com, I have to log in separately for each the first time I'm sent to each.
Does this happen to anyone else? [ Using both IE7 Beta and Firefox 1.5.0.4 ]
Thread: New Galleries are here!!! | Forum: Community Center
Admittedly, I'm mostly a browser, so viewing 'What's New" is mostly what I do
at Renderosity.
The new layout looks nice.
Is it possible to re-include a Next_Page button - the page numbers are rather small
to click on?
Also, can the artist name be restored at the bottom of the "zoomed" picture - I like to zoom a page-full of thumbnails at once?
