It's a pose package to make the hair do certain things, quickly. You could move the dials by hand, of course, to accomplish the same things - they're just very handy for quick changes. I am on a PC, so I don't know much about it, but I believe MaConverter is a free utility. Hmm.

Egypt Hair by 3Dream (here) and Egypt Hair Steps by Shahara are the products I'd recommend. (There's also Agent Hair and a couple of others that have steps packages.) The Egypt hair I bought originally for my 'contemporary' renders, for my female figure, but I had a terrible time trying to make it work. Steps allowed me to easily change the hair for different figures, as well as change the style of the hair, and I've discovered that the short, fit-to-michael-3 version looks GREAT, and imho it looks better on Mike than it ever did on Vicki.
Thread: Favorite Photorealistic Michael 3 Textures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My favorite is Jose. It's incredibly detailed and with the Realism Kit applied, just phenomenal. It's almost TOO distinctive, though. Any picture you look at, you can TELL a Jose. Bjorn is another one that, although I can't afford it yet, looks totally cool.

Try out the Magic Metal/Magic Touch/etc materials. They're awesome for quickly changing clothes, and just looking at them in the Material room is a tutorial in and of itself. The velvet is good, but it looks better and smoother (imho) if you cut the granite shader. All around they're handy-dandy and look great, though. And they're reasonably priced, considering an image map texture pack is often more expensive and less versatile. Good luck!
Thread: Convert Bryce models to Poser 6? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Have you tried exporting as a wavefront obj, and then importing into Poser? I know transporting Poser figures to Bryce works that way, but I'm not certain if you can do it the other way 'round or not.
Thread: Lioncloth for M3 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Nerd3d has a freebie dynamic loincloth, too, I believe. I think it might be for the Freak, but switching dynamic clothes between characters is very simple.
Thread: Makers of Poser Men's Clothing and Manly Stuff | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've been desperately trying to find reasonably priced clothes for M3, along the same quality lines that are offered for Vicki, and having little to no luck! (I like to avoid Daz whenever possible, ok? I haven't found their clothes to be that great. Plus 'reasonably priced' for me means less than $20 for a clothing pack. :/) I found ONE dynamic thing for M3, here in the Renderosity freestuff, and it was a dress. What I'm really dying for is a dynamic button-down shirt set for M3 similar to the shirt set svdl has for Victoria, and a pair of pants for M3 that's either dynamic, or as completely awesome as hmann's low-rise jeans for V3 are. (M3 Jeans at Daz are not up to this caliber!) So far, I've been able to locate neither of those things. I actually started gathering information and freebie programs on modelling so I could attempt to make the items I wasn't finding, but of course, I've hit a brick wall there. If anyone has any ideas, or something they know of that's under construction, please let me know!

Thread: M3 genital morph? object? what? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ok, hmm, Michael himself(the base pak) isn't sort of neuter, like the pictures, then? I noticed some of the character packs (like Jose by Shahara) were very ~explicit~ in the detail pictures. That's default? o.0
Thread: Scaling question for Poser6 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Considering 150 lbs looks different on every person... hehe If you have V3, she also has body morphs to change her 'weight'. Some of the 'Heavy' morphs aren't particularly realistic, but you can use some of the full body morphs with negative values or in combination to get the affect you want. The only real problem is if you do, conforming clothes are a misery to fit. Hooray for dynamic cloth. -.-

It looks pretty good to me! I do wonder if people really sling their bows like that, though.
Thread: Poser 6 Save Problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have the same problem, but the files only get corrupted when I get an Out of Memory error. I've just learned to save two different copies of everything, and switch between them - then when one corrupts, I open the other and save-as. :/ It's a pain, but less of a pain than starting over completely.
Thread: Problem with Mirror Raytrace | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmm, using the one-sided square with the raytracing node applied gives me just a blank black square (and yes, firefly raytracing is on, and I applied the node to the correct object.) Hm, tutorial doesn't seem to have anything specific to this issue, but looks like a good one nevertheless. Thank you. :)
Thread: What is the largest render size you've been able to accomplish? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ohh, that limit is good to know. I have been attempting 3000x5000 renders in P6 with no success. (They will begin, but tend to hang until they freeze once a figure comes into view.) Biggest successfully completed render has been 1024x768 at 300dpi, for me.
Thread: Runtime Management | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I only use one runtime, but I went through and rearranged figures, poses and props into subfolders so they're easier to navigate. I keep the old zipsso if I need to figure out who something is by, I can go look, but otherwise I arrange stuff into standardized folders like "Furniture" "Scenes" "Furnishings" "Clothing" "Accessories" and from there, break down by model of necesary. (For the most part, I use V3 for everything, so I don't have alot to worry about as far as that goes. For the poses, I broke things down into subfolders by clothing/scene/furtniture/character/whatever mats, actual poses, and P1-6 default content. It doesn't make the program itself run faster, but it sure makes it easier for me to find stuff, and THAT speeds me up alot!
