I was reading somewhere few months ago (I forget where, and I can't find a link now) that the cashflow in porno is significantly bigger then it is in mainstream hollywood movies (If those could be consiodered art, or at least artsy film entertainment).

If this is true, the prevalence of T&A in here is proportionate to the population at large, I suppose.

What I've learnd from some psych classes is that the drive for sexual fulfillment is typically much stronger then the drive for self efficacy and intellectual fulfilment (not to be confused with less important). When you try to mix the two, the stronger one is bound to prevail. When I look at what's hapenning here, my reaction is, hey, that stuff I learned way back, seem to fit.
Intellectual pursuits get more important after the sexual ones have been satisfied. Such is life.

So, it seems that if those whom prefer to come here for more intellectual and spiritual type pursuits would be better served if there was some sort of segregation between the genras (sp?). (I have no idea how I'd go about figuring out where to draw the line, that's yet another can of worms, better opened later.)

Don't tell me that most able bodied men (or women) in their prime and a loving partner will not set aside a book or a drawing or another piece of art for an, um, booty call when they're in the right mood... :m_tongue2:

One solution I see is to get guys to be more selective... um... nevermind, bad idea :P

I love the simple images, they tend to make you think.
My last digression into very simple is a twist I did on a rubik's cube I saw someone rendered couple of weeks ago.
So I thought I'd make a cube of all the same color, set it into a sort of a logo-like pose, that thing so many of us look up to... painted all one color. I was thinking, perfect logo for a "one size fit's all" Engineering firm... or um, a software company... cutting too many corners and imposing one solution for everyone.
Resemblance to any RL businesses is purely coincidental, but I'm sure more then one may feel self conscious. HA!

Actually, in an HD crash, I lost a lot of the renderings about 6 months ago, but not the bryce files, so I'm redoing a lot of them. :biggrin:

Well, as someone whom has dealt with an eating disorder all my life and been every size from zero to 22 (US) if I started feeling like that looking at the BH's images, instead of appreciating the art and the effort that went into them, I'd be on the phone with my shrink telling him I need a maintenance/reality check-up, it's getting out of hand again.

Hint to those whom are troubled by pretty pictures and fantasy art: There's no message, subliminal or otherwise in BH's images what I'm (or You) are supposed to look like. If I think I see one, it's very much in my own head.

Personally, I don't like to look at overweight models of women myself, noy in pleasant admiration at least, it tends to remind me of all of the physical discomforts of overweightness. Hurting feet, can't keep up in activities I like, heartburn, changing sizes and clothes not fitting right, blah blah, it's a pain in the rear, and the emotional discomfort that frequently preceeds the weight gain.

I think this equine has had enough flogging, I'm off to look at some Handsome Hunk Galleries ;)

What's really unhealthy is that there's so many nekkid women pics around here and not nearly as many good looking nekkid men.

Bautiful art of the women you guys, incredible art, but for fantasy art...
I just don't fantasize about women. sniffle  I feel so neglected and under-represented.  How about Chippendales or a cabana-boy version of Michael?

Starkdog, what you're doing seems to be what I was attempting to learn how to do, and got tangled up... Is there a tutorial somewhere? I was looking for something like that, but I think my being green on terminology prevented me from finding the right thing! Like, when you said 'shrinkwrap', I'm wondering, was that a single command, was that a process, how does it it react to the morphs. Looks like I chose to use Hi res Jessi, with full body morphs.

Way back when in Poser 3, I was able to take a figure, export it out, modify it and make shorts out of it... I think about 4 years ago...  This time I tried with duplicating Jessi, and editing the mesh in P6 (forgot exactly how-I'm at work right now, so I can't look it up and it was about 3 months ago I tried). Something went goofy with the mesh, I think I lost the morphs?

I guess the question would be, so I need the details of the morphs, or will they carry over? I know eventually I need to learn them more.

I have this crazy Idea to model the stroke cycle that my boyfriend, whom is a swim coach teaches, then try to plug it into dartswim, or use in clinics...  What better way to learn the program I had laying around for 3-4 years then to try and make something (hopefully) useful with it :)

Bagginsbill, Thanks for the details! I'll check out what you suggested, see what happens. I hope I can figure out how to get V3 to load in Poser. The suit shape is a lot like what I'm looking for!

I tried with Victoria (have Victoria and Michael). I can't seem to make her look very sporty, at least not with the base. I could get the body morphs, much like what jessi comes with, but then I get into the same issue with not knowing how to fit clothing, or not finding the right piece. Get lost in huneds of morphs and volume of information.

When I go with just coloring the body parts, I get feedback that it looks too pornographic. You can see nipple bumps, too much efinition under chest and under glutes, visible belly button etc. All things that spandex-like suits tend to cover up.
I do need to end up with a significant level of realisam. Another consideration, poses seem to not transfer well from one model to another, and I have a number of poses developed for Stephanie. I figured I can develop the poses before I finnd the clothes, and I've been working on them for lst few months. I'd rather not have to re-do them all. 

Not to mention tht at the moment, I can't get even get victoria or michael to show up in P6. They only show up in DAZ studio but, that's another story. I tried V3 catsuit, but couldn't get her boobs smaller. I need more experience with morphs, I think that was my problem?

I dunno, whichever direction I look in, there's something I don't seem to know how to resolve.
