The pose is good and the clothes is good. Skin texture seems off but I can't place it. I'm wondering if you have a light behind the camera that is too bright The skin also seems like maybe it's over exposed too.

I'm sorry, but I'd have to agree with johnfields. Things that hit me as you might need to work on are:

1. the image is left side heavy. Everything is to the left side of the image except the painting and thermometer. you might think about either rearaning the room or changing the camera angle.

2. the lighting probably could be better...I suck at lighting so I can't sure. The one thing I notice is the angle of the shadow from the chair doesn't match the light in the image.

3. the dresser looks over exposed, like there is too much light in it.

4. The lamp texture might be more realistic.

I do like the table and chair textures. The knick nacks add a realistic touch.

Just any characters from kids television shows, movies books, etc. I don't have anybody specifically in mind.  My son has a problem with distinguishing who, what, when and where. I am wanting to make some books for him to use. Characters with specific personalities would be helpful for the who book so he can't just say the man or the dad. They will have names.

The comic book characters will help.

To answer your first question last, they can be better, but not always. It depends on what you are doing with the clothing.  Conforming clothes are easier to work with for some poses as they follow the figure's pose, but skirts don't sit or kneel well.  The conforming clothing also doesn't lay as realisticly. It does cling better if you want a clingy or skin tight look.

The dynamic clothing doesn't need certain poses nor do poses come with it. You use the cloth room.

I've only been using dynamic clothing myself for a short time so I am no expert but here is a quick idea of what to do

1. load your figure
2. move the animation marker to frame 5
3. pose your figure
4. go back to frame 1
5. load your dynamic clothing
6. parent it to the figure (look under object menu)-this can be optional
7. make sure there isn't any skin poking through the clothing. repose or resize the figure if needed in fram 1
8. go to cloth room
9. click on new simulation
10. name the simulation and click ok
11. click on clothify
12. in pop up window select the chothing and click clothify
13. click on colide against
14. click add/remove
15. use check boxes to select anything the cloth might contact but you don't want it to pass through
16. click ok
17. click calculate simulation
18. take a quick nap...maybe
    if you reposition the figure you with need to recalculate

What are jelly strings? Are they like licorice whips?

You may want to back up your runtimes before removing P6. It will delete anything you have there.

As far as sorting my hair I have it under male and female and then long and short under each of those.

For desiding what hair to use I usually have a rough idea of what style I'm looking for ie, formal, casual, long,short etc. Then I scroll through what I have till I find something I like. And I try it. If I like it, it stays, otherwise, I find a different one.

I've seen this question alot and I'd like to use bryce stuff in poser too. I don't suppose anyone would be interested in writing a utility to convert obp to obj.  I'm sure there's some copyright issues thoughand permission would have to be obtaned from DAZ
