I looked at the mesh and while the accessories are excellent, the figure itself is a little lacking. I'd suggest finding a freebie flight suit, putting it on a poser figure and adding the helmet, boot, etc.

Nope, that would happen if you check the Weld body part seams box. Leave that one unchecked.

Your better bet is to tinker with the joint alignment, in this case the elbow, in the setup room until that situation vanishes. Sometimes it takes going back and forth to the pose room a few times. One thought is to simply open up a file and move an already finished and functioning shirt into the setup room and get an idea or where those joints sit within the mesh for reference. Very effective method for making human figures where the same problem often pops up in the far more complex hands and fingers. If it doesn't work, send me a copy of the .obj file and I'll fix it for you. :O)

Blender's lighting has gotten so simple and good over the last couple versions, everyone should give it at least a try.

Blender is awesome, the first proper 3D app I ever used, and use it quite nicely along with Poser to this day. The ambient occlusion function is great for rendering. Would be great if someone could come up with a python script for improting Poser scenes straight away into Blender though, instead of the .obj export/import system.

Rotica lets just about anything go. This is a more vanilla site. That's just the way it is. So long as they're upfront, if not entirely consistent, your gripe is a bit unwarranted. I always tell folks to post soft and sell hard, if you know what I mean.

I don't think it's OT. If it's OK for people to post raves and recommendations of DAZ products, it's OK for them to take the occasional justified shot. I had the same problem, and eventually did stop their spam, but it took far longer than it should have. Nice job, J.

The best approach is to make sure your room mesh has it's materials set like a dice cube. Floor, ceiling and each of the 4 walls are seperate materials, making it easy to make one wall transparent and dolly the camera back. If you build them yourself, it's easy to do, if you don't, they're easy to re-map.
